This is sooooo wierd, us monkeys are really firing the technological cannon. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9c6W4CCU9M4]Project Glass: One day... - YouTube[/ame]
so eventually we're all just going to be a bunch of people talking to ourselves. sounds fucking crazy.
http://g.co/projectglass The concept is great! I can't wait to see an actual product on the market like this. They have LCD eyeware/computers but not like this as far as I know. I don't understand how the user interface works, other than the microphone/camera where is the input? A lot of it is not a real possibility though. Google Maps isn't completely current or accurate, how are they going to keep up with building floorplans?
Allow a user to update the map through their own eyeware when they note that the map and actual layout are incoherent? I really think that it's coming. The big surprise
Hahaha I don't often wish I weren't alive to see something...but this is pushing the limits. I laughed while I was watching it because it made me feel extremely uncomfortable with the society I live in. Thats been happening more often as of late...
If were alive when the car, or the T.V. were first being produced, you might have said the same. Why so reluctant to the change that is bound to happen at some point anyways?
I am a stubborn ass dude...I will come around eventually Until then... edit: And yes, I would have probably said the same things about the car and the TV, but I don't own those anyway
Yeah all I have to say is.... I'm definitely not going to be wearing those things lmfao. The government can track enough fucking stuff already, location, audio, I don't need everything I see to be recorded too, no thanks
But you have a computer... well whatever don't mind me as I race through the streets with my HUD map like the mothafucking batman
looks neat...and scary as fuck at the same time and to think, people think cellphones are a distraction... SMH
They left out the part where the glasses transmit your surroundings and activities so that situation-relevant advertisements can be flashed directly into your retinas. "It is raining. Buy an umbrella. There are 32 locations near you selling umbrellas.†“Your girlfriend looks unhappy. Buy jewellery. There are 14 jewellery stores near you.†“That brand of toilet paper is cheap. Buy our sponsor brand, Super Quilted. Super Quilted added to shopping list.†Seriously though, Google is Skynet.
So.... who else can hear his music while he listens to it?? Are there speakers in the ear part of the glasses?
