Ok so here is the deal... these clones are about 2 weeks old... THEY MUST SURVIVE or my genetics are lost ( the mothers are flowering now )---- so, i saw roots pop out of one so i hurried and planted the baby hoping it will do well... My QUESTION IS... how many roots must be visible to plant the clones (transplant)? I have very gently tugged at a few and they seem to have resistance... meaning that they have a viable root sys. From your experience, do you let them totally pop their roots out, or do you plant them as soon as you see a root? PLEASE HELP, I AM WANTING TO PLANT THESE THINGS BUT I DON'T KNOW IF THEY ARE READY OR NOT-----THANKS FOR ANY HELP
How long are you into flower? If you're not long into it, take more clones on the 21st day. They will root in 10-14 days and will be the shortest bushiest plants you've ever seen. Lead pipe lock guarantee
You can plant them now but be sure not to over water them. I usually just give them a squeeze or two from a turkey baster when they're that young and fragile. As the root system develops, the new emerging growth will be the indicator to increase watering amounts.
Don't do that. Young roots are very fragile, you almost certainly killed at least some of the developing roots. It's probably not enough to seriously damage the plant, but it does set you back a bit while they regrow.
thank you for the help--- 3 out of 12 are rooted and in a great mix of soil... i appreciate the input- G.C. is the best grow community out there-
