Would you buy something previously listed on eBay, from the user, via Pay-pal?

  1. This guy had two Stooges LP's listed, I sent him a message asking if he'd send to me because he's international, he took them down to re-list, then sent me a message saying if I wanted he could just sell them to me via Pay-Pal, as it would lower costs both ways and we'd get it done faster. What would you say? He has all positive feedback but I don't wanna be out $80.00 because of some scam, if you know what I mean.

Thanks for any help, guys and gals.

80$ is quite a bit so I wouldn't but thats just me.

  3. I not to sure, how high is his feedback, and how long ago did he join? I personally don't buy anything from international sellers on ebay.

I look at this situation, with info given, and say to myself: 50% chance of a scam.

If the money you save is equal to or greater than 50% of the value of the items in question, buy.

If the money you saved is less than 50% of the value of the items in question, do not buy.

P.S. Ironically, if anyone is offering you a 50% discount if you do direct over paypal you can be 100% sure it's a scam. Therefore you can never justify this imho.

  5. I have had great experiences with international sellers on ebay. Just make sure you really check the feedback.
