Would this get me high

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by McSoap, Oct 21, 2012.

  1. Hey, I just rolled up this J. Its about .3-.4 g of some sour and I used the pencil trick this time with some bible paper, put a roach , sealed it with a lil honey and proceeded to put the weed in and packed it very tight. Touching the joint it feels harder than a cigarette, and I packed it so tight that there was so much paper left I ripped more than half of it and twisted the top. The thing looks absolutely puny and half its length is the roach itself, but my questions is, do you think i should rip it and reroll it a tad thinner so it's longer and burns longer? Would that be more efficient at getting high?
Heres a pic next to one of those mini bic lighters

Yee roll a longer one with the .4 I rolled a blunt once with .5 of shake when I was a kid

edit: and I agree with ProfessorTHC22, ever since I bought a good glass on glass tube I've only smoked like 2 joints lol it makes your bud go a lot further.

  4. I know someone who makes little fat joints like that sometimes. Its all preference. If you want a bigger hit keep that, if you want it to burn longer make it skinnier.
I don't really think one is better than the other

  5. get 72mm papers and have the best of both worlds :hello:

  6. man that's gonna burn quick

  7. Thats gonna suck to smoke, honestly with that little amount of bud I'd just find a bowl, a joint with .4 shouldn't even be that small dude, troll?

  8. Took your guys word for it, and since it definitely would've burned out super quick, and made it way slimmer. Doesn't feel rock solid like that little chode of a J, but i'm sure it'll suffice :smoking:
Behold my shitty freestyle rolling skills!

I never really considered buying that, sounds like it'd be useful though :bongin: Whats the average price for a decent glass piece though?

You can get a shitty mini spoon for like $3 at your LHS

  13. Anywhere from 30-1500.
For a first piece spend about 50$
It will be broke soon enough and if you bought a really cheap one you wouldn't care, and not learn your lesson.
Conversely if you bought a really expensive one you'd learn the lesson but be out alot more money. (that you could have spent on weed)

    Get a cheap glass spoon.

  14. Or get a metal pipe if you're clumsy

  15. Dude I have buddies that have smoked for over 20 years that couldn't roll something even half as good as that.

  16. Thats cool and all but you're not supposed to roll with the part that has ink

I was gonna say this... next time use the blank pages in the back

  18. Re buying glass as a first timer: Not sure where you live, but in a large city like Chicago for instance, there are lots of convenience stores that sell glass. Granted, not super great quality, but you can find double blown little spoons for like $15-$20. Not a bad deal honestly, then you won't be out the cash if you break it, as home boy said up there about being out a wad ya could've spent on ganj.
