Would they know if I had Growth Hormone deficiency

Discussion in 'General' started by married2mj, Nov 21, 2011.

  1. I'm 21 1/2 years old and I could literally pass for 15 years old maybe in physical outward appearance. I see Andy Milonakis...he obviously has this disease...maybe I have a slighter case than he does? I've smoked tons of cigarettes for 3 1/2 years now and drank tons of alcohol and shit...both things that are suppose to make you look older. Both those definitely made me look older but I still look MAD young. Could I have an undiagnosed case of this disease? I'm starting to think I do because I look ridiculously young for my age. Like when I buy alcohol, people don't even consider it an option that I'm old enough to do it. Would someone be able to correctly determine if I have this disease or is it just a subjective type of thing? One day looking really young will pay off...when I finally look like I'm legitimately 18 but at this point it's kind of annoying.

It's not a disease, people are different. You can go to a doctor and they will test your HGH and testosterone/androgen levels. Your doctor will prescribe HGH if your levels are abnormal.

Genetics have a lot to do with it and whether or not your growth plates closed, and the only option you have is to order topical HGH from overseas or get some products that stimulate the release of HGH.

  3. I think I'm gonna start telling people I have this disease when they question my age regardless if I do or not.

  4. Yeah maybe you're right. Both my parents look 10 years younger than they are...but I've seen pictures of them at my age and they don't look nearly as young as I do...and neither did my sister. Like I consider myself to be at least average maturity for my age. I used to be immature mentally and I thought that reflected the way I looked on the outward appearance in one way or another but I've made great strides in maturity mentally wise in the last couple of years and I feel I don't look much older as a result of that. But are you telling me Milonkis doesn't have a disease? I give that kid MAD props...if he didn't look so young I guarantee he wouldn't be nearly as funny. He's taken advantage of the fact of how young he looks and that he has a superior mature brain to people that look as old as him and made a ton of money off of it. Good for him.

  5. No, he just looks different man... it's not a disease.

The only thing I could suggest is get your levels tested and if they're fine just start working out. Get the book convict conditioning, it's all old school calisthenics and you don't need any equipment.

  6. yea it's hormonal issues i think. you would have to ask a doctor, if he is willing to see you about it

  7. But thanks dude...I think I will do this just because I'm curious. Rep+

hmm look at this pic i found of him haha

  9. Lol dude I work out a lot (for 5 years now) and I'm naturally very muscular too...The other day at the gym there was some 15ish kid at the gym with his dad and they were just staring at me the entire time I was lifting because I look as if I'm some like ripped ass high school wrestler kid haha when I'm not at all.

  10. I had a slight problem with this. Got put on Growth Hormones for over a year. Giving myself a shot daily starting when I was 15 and up till my 16th birthday. Nobody knew about this other than my family because I was embarrassed. Sophomore in highschool at the time, i may add. At the point of taking them I had the bone age of a 12 year old and was only 4'11" 100 lbs maybe? I grew total of 8 inches in about a year and now am 6 feet even 140lbs. But before I started taking the shots I has given testosterone shots every 3 months at the doctors to see if that would help, it didn't so we proceeded to go to the GH shots. Was a smart choice to make, wish it could have been made sooner though.

  11. Honestly I would reject growth hormones at this point. If I had known it could make me look older back when I was....14...I definitely would. But at this point I'm almost completely over the whole "looking young" thing...It's close to coming an advantage for me. Like it's still annoying but I just wanna "know" if I really am lacking and that's the reason why I look so young. Just would give me mental satisfaction in a way I don't know...but yeah.

  12. I kinda know what you are saying about the mental satisfaction, because if I didn't go and get it checked out, it could have been worse and maybe still look way to young. Go try and get an appointment, never know what they could say.

  13. this is me when i just turned 21 [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ifg6h4HT9jo]smokin dat blue dream - YouTube[/ame]

I could easily pass for 15 there. Weak hit....ya...but whatever I got high as fuck. Lol peace.

  14. You'll get used to it and get passed it. Idgaf anymore. The other day was the first time I haven't been carded for beer. I'm 23.

  15. seriously, i think its better to look younger than older.

People always think I'm older than what I am .

I always wondered that.. the seniors in high school now look like 10 year olds and back in the 70s they were fucking lumberjacks with full beards

maybe all the preservatives are like preserving OUR bawdies broo :smoke:

  18. I know plenty of people who look really young for their age.

I wouldn't go messing around with hormones, just let nature do it's thing dude.

  19. Don't sweat it, hon! Right now it's a drag, but 20/30 years on, you will still be "lookin' good" and pass for much younger!
