hello i am going to be growing in a couple weeks in my closet im makeing my grow box now but i want to know if these lights would work.http://www.nolico.com/saveenergy/40w_quad.htm. they are from walmart and there are these 60 watt lapms for $15 and they say thats they grow plants but idk. well peace
If the lights are the same ones as in the link yes they will work for grow lights ( normally called Compact Flourecents Lights or Energy Saving Bulbs)...Try to get the highest wattage you can...though 60watt CFL (compact flourcents lights) i've never heard of them being 15 bucks...
ya! i just got paid today and bought 2 of them. think that can grow 2 plants or should i put some more floro's in? its sweet im making a grow box out of these boxes i got from a place and do u think it would be a good idea for me to make it the size i want by taking off side from other boxes and then put them together the size i want?
Nice 2-40 watt CFLs would be fine for 2 plants, as for the grow box stuff...take a look at this link, I explained everything for him and drew a pic so he'd have a more efficent grow box...hope this helps! http://forum.grasscity.com/showthread.php?t=60456
