would medical mary J help me?

Discussion in 'Medical Cannabis: Treatments & Patient Experiences' started by tnh, Nov 8, 2006.

  1. here is the deal....

i am in alot of pain and frustration because of my current situation...

    1. have chronic back pain, prescribed 1000 mg vicodin and 60 mg oxycontin that i cannot use because they make me nauseated

    2. I have irritable bowel syndrome (self explanatory)

    3. chronic migraines (blinding pain)

    4. hypertension (medicaded with diovan)

    5. insomnia (got a night job because i could never sleep anyway)

as you can see, i am in quite a lot of pain, and am really just trying to find something that will help me....

obviously if i wanted to just get wasted the oxy and vics would do the trick....

    thanks for your help

  2. are you smoking weed already ? If not, I would try to get a hold of some and try it to see if it works for you. If it does, then look into getting medical.

I think you have a better chance of anyone here of getting some, so just go for it either way.

  3. You sound like the perfect medi weed candidate my friend.

It may help the migraine. You have to try and see if it gives relief.

The irritable bowel thing yes definately.Cannabis does seem to aid the digestive tract and colon.

I'm a medi user and have friends with IBS and it really helps them.

Bear in mind cannabis is not a cure all. What might help you may not help another. Also with pain relief(Your back) some strains of pot will help and others seemingly not at all.

I suffer from chronic lower back pain and smoke Sensi Skunk from Sensi Seeds Holland. This helps my back and yet Skunk #1 is a sister to Sensi Skunk but gives little pain relief for me personally.

Nobody can tell you which strain will be good for you.You have to try various. You may be lucky in that all strains help. It's down to you individually and your actual ailment.

  4. long story short i was growing weed and got busted, with 3 lbs in my possession, i get drug tested every once and awhile.....

i still have some around but i thought that medical mj would be engineered in a way to help me more than some dank, where i can't move when i smoke it (not complaining :))

i love smoking but the strain i had (northern lights and lowryder didn't help my symptoms)
