  1. Hello I just recently got a part of a plant from a friend of mine, it was ready to be dried so I have been drying it in my closet for about 4 days or so I have been loioking at the temp to make sure it is at the right temp it is usually at the 70 degrees mark a little lower, I am new at this and want to make sure im doing it right because it still has that grass smell to it and I dont want to ruin it. THANKS

  2. dark cool place, hang it if u can.

  3. Yes I have it hung up its been in a dark closet for about 3-4 days I guess the question I had is if it should still have that chlorophyll smell to it?

  4. Takes a couple of weeks to dry, at least a couple of months to cure if you want the best smoke. How patient are you?

  5. I can be patient I have just read from different sites that you dry them for only 3-4 days then cure for about 1-3 weeks I just want to make sure Im doing it right

  6. A week or 2weeks of hanging. Humidity plays a big factor in your drying time and success. You want to limit the amount of moisture in the air if possible. Curing is great but again 1-4 weeks is a decent cure 2 months is a great cure. First week open jar once a day for a minute or so, following weeks open once a week. Of course this is all a general idea and not exact science. Temp humidity wetness of plant to begin with all play a part. I have heard people hanging over a pellet stove dry in 3 days no problems in fact it was great smoke. Take all advice with a grain of salt. I don't think you need to wait two months to cure the bud yeah that's great if your in the position to do this but most people aren't.
