Thank God for war? Sounds like a fundamentalists logic.. The only problem with your little war creates peace theory is that its actually these wars that create fundamentalists, not the religion itself. War, and the death of loved ones psychologically transforms your average religious folk into the fundamentalist terrorists you see today. America has been brainwashed, these wars have been conducted in the most secretive manor possible.

btw RIP, these deaths are very tragic.

seal team 6... so the same unit that raided the bin laden compound, 20+ of them die in a helicopter crash? the record breaking deaths just happens to be seal team 6.

while at the bin laden compound there was a stealth helicopter (used by seal team 6 that crashed.)

i dunno it does sound like a conspiracy. connecting the dots shouldnt be considered crazy talk.

  3. Its the same team but not the same members who actually went in and got Bin Laden. Sorry but no conspiracy.

  4. I'm gonna have to agree with HappyBoy on this one.

  5. There was no reason on earth for the religious and political extremists in Afghanistan to hate the United States enough to facilitate bin laden's insane attacks on 9/11. We not only helped them eject the Soviets, we gave them many millions in foreign aid every year.

The Taliban are just inbred, ignorant, insane animals gone wild. Every time that one dies, the world is a little better off.

I hear what you're saying, and I'm certainly no history buff, but based off what I believe I know, the US has a poor record for making other countries lives easier. IE war on drugs, wars etc... When is enough, enough? How many more need to die? Seriously, i'm asking how many more.. What are the objectives of these wars in Afghanistan now that Bin Laden is dead?

nobody knows who the seal team members that were on the bin laden mission are.
    (its all classified)
theres no way you can prove that other then taking the governments word on it.

  8. I'm not saying that all of the post 9/11 Afghanistan operations were handled correctly by the US and our allies, or that I like war - it's just that they brought all of this this upon themselves. We were their best friend for crissakes, and they made us their worst enemy. How fucking stupid is that?

As I've said before, the whole world watched the Taliban refuse to hand bin laden over directly to the United States after 9/11, and thumb their noses at us. They're beyond evil, they're a fucking disease, a scourge on the human race. Now that bin laden is dead there's not much point in staying there - at least this seems to be the case, but better mind than ours are in charge.

  9. Hah! :hide:

  10. What surprises me is we actually know anything at all. These are SpecialOps American troops we're talking about here, and they never tell us shit about them.

Supposedly they were flying through a canyon too right? Why the fuck are they flying through canyons where enemy troops can be easily posted on either side to shoot them down? I know it was a rescue mission but that kind of shit really doesn't fly in the Military, at least what a ex-Navy Seal friend was telling me.

You should re-evaluate your position on government sector efficiency.. Its not often they do anything correctly..

As far as efficiency the Military is one of the only places they ever at least try to do it correctly. Mainly because they're just tools for the government, and tools need to be kept sharpened and well-oiled. An inefficient tool is one that is ineffective when needed for the government and the elite's purposes.

I'm not saying they don't have their mistakes but, when it comes to SpecialOps every detail is septuple checked, and even more then that. Right now there is a SpecialOps mission going on somewhere in the world, and you would never know about it, who's in it, where it is, how they're doing it or why. Efficiency is the name of the game, and when this tool is sharpened to a fine point it is very efficient indeed.

Really all of this just sounds like something our government will use to stay in War, because this is the logic our government runs under. Obama sells guns to Mexican Cartels? Puts limits on the 2nd amendment, its not 'our' fault its yours. Some Repubs won't allow passage of a debt ceiling raise? Threaten their base with fear and intimidation, its not 'our' fault its yours. Troops get killed in Afghanistan? We need to stay there to get rid of the threat, its not 'our' fault its yours. So on and so forth.

    It's a coincidence, that I don't believe. And I'm not even a conspiracy type...

The real issue here, and this is coming from me with a long military history as well as a long military family history, dates all the way back to the civil war.

The military is not something that can be run via Skype from Washington. That is the reason our military is failing, because total war is no longer an option. Let the generals do what they do best, from the field with field experience. No fucking bureaucrat should be running these wars, that's why we are at a dead halt. I do believe that we should no longer be in those countries, however if you know anything about the military we are not going to just pack up and leave. We will continue to have installations in both Iraq and Afghanistan.

  14. So you think its more then just a coincidence? I don't know man I'm confused.

Or maybe just high :smoke:

  15. THe people of Afghanistan were suffering from the Russian war to Civil war. The Taliban in a way WOULD BECOME IMPERIALISTS. If they established all of Afghanistan as an Islamic State and became strong, then it is OBLIGATORY for them to make 'Offensive Jihad'. When there is an Islamic State it is a requirement that the nation wages jihad against other non believing nations. (Read about Offensive Jihad according to the Salaf). My intent is to demonstrate that many innocent men, women, and children have been murdered for the sake of resources and imperialism. This is not the way we humans need to live our lives. At some point we need to evolve and realize that what we are doing is INSANE. Its that plain and simple. We are murdering people and sleeping all the same night peacefully. This has to end, but as long as we support the 'red, white, and blue' and other nations react by being fundamentalists than we will continue our cycle of endless wars and suffering.

I hope peace will be achieved one of these days on this forsaken planet.

  16. Honestly they can say whatever they want about who was in the helicopter. Im not saying there is a conspiracy but once you get into things like seal team six no one around you knows your real name, where your from or what your doing. My brother is pretty high up in marine recon and he still meets people named X. Im suprised they even said there where seal team six members on board.

  17. It's funny you bring up the war on drugs. It absolutely RAPES Afghanistan until it bleeds from the ass. Here's how:
The Taliban's main source of income is heroin. 90% of that heroin is destined for the American and European market. Why is that heroin so valuable? Because of the war on drugs. If we could domestically produce heroin for a very low price, the Taliban would lose their main source of income. The fields in Afghanistan that are currently being used to grow poppy plants could be used to grow FOOD for the Afghan people! We are directly responsible for a lot of bad shit in Afghanistan.
I believe that if the war on drugs ended and heroin would no longer be a good source of income for the Taliban, they could be eradicated within months.

  18. There's no reason to believe or doubt anything they say when it's about subjects like this. Simply because it's too easy for a very powerful government to cover things up. The only thing you can do is accept the fact that these stories could be true, but could also very plausibly be part of a cover up. I ignore any information the government gives me if I can think of a motive for them to lie, because I know that if they have a reason to lie, they WILL lie.

  19. The people of Afghanistan were actually better off when the Soviets were there, before the move to kick them out with help from the Americans. The Soviets were invited in by the Socialist government of Afghanistan, and they brought education and equality for women, food, modern medicine and many other benefits to this godforsaken place. Of course, the religous nuts over there would have none of this, and the U.S. agreed to help them because the enemy of our enemy is our friend.

  20. Whether or not it really happened, is irrelevant.

What we are going to do now because of it, is the real question.
