Worst Experience Ever

  1. I ran over a cat on accident tonight...

For some jackasses, you may laugh and say "that's all?" and call me a pussy, but I don't give a fuck. I don't even kill insects. If there is a bug in my room, I just get a piece of paper, scoop them up, and move them to like five feet away. I don't even put them outside incase their home is inside my room because then they'd never find their way back. The extent of my killing nature is just I've become numb to having bugs hit my windshields. So for me to run over a cat, someone's family pet, it is one of the worst ordeals of my life and I've never done it before. I'm such an emotional wreck right now...

and not to mention the only reason I was out driving was because my friend was gonna give me some green if I drove him somewhere, he was 50 fucking miles away, so I put over 125 miles on my car for this friend, and when he gave me my green he gave me some fucked up excuse as to why he couldn't give me as much as he could (he packed three nugs into a dugout system and it was hard to get out) so he gave me a tiny ass bit... which I thought was horrible considering how far I drove for him, and how much gas i wasted for him.

But that anger pales in the comparison of how my emotions are so fucked up from the other thing that happened. *sigh* Such a horrible feeling. I have my kitty chilling in my room right now with me, and normally she'd be anxious to get out, but I think she knows I"m sad and is just staying in here with me, she's so sweet.

  2. Love cats, a while back i was backing out of the driveway and i guess my favorite cat was sleeping behind the back wheel and POP! rolled over his head... Was the worst thing to watch him spinning and jumping like crazy until he finally came to a stop...

  3. Maybe it was already hurt or in pain and you put it out of its misery.

  4. He wasn't... he looked right at me. It was a black cat, on black asphault, during night, so I didn't see him till the last minute, and he froze, just starring right at me... it's going to haunt me. I have no clue how i'm going ot get to sleep tonight.

  5. Lmao, reminds me of two nights ago...

A friend came down to pick up some green and hit a rabbit. He kept tellin me how bad he felt and stuff, so we drove back to check on it. And theres a little rabbit standing near the corpse, mourning.

So he starts sayin how bad he feels and how he's got 'bad karma' now.. lmao cracked me up..

But i feel for ya jonsi, that's terrible

  6. Whooahhhh :) hope your not the supersticious type :)

  7. That sucks, man. RIP Cat.

I feel the same way, animal abuse/killing your cat for fun isn't to be tolerated.

  8. You my friend have a gentle and beautiful spirit to be so hurt about that cat. Most people wouldn't even bat an eye but you're truly hurt by the experience. We need more people like you; maybe the world would be a better place. I've never run over a cat but I think I know how you may be feeling. A family of Raccoons lives in back of my building, so I've basically watched the new batch of kits maturing for a couple months, and have grown attached to them. The other evening I was coming back from a friends and I'd almost made it home when I noticed out of the corner of my eye one of the kits lying crushed on the side of the road. Needless to say I was fucking devastated. I was so pissed because it was just lying there so helpless and no one had bothered to move it. I felt really fucking guilty that I wasn't around to possibly save it. The familiar phrase: “things like this happen in life,” is coming to mind, but though that may be a truism it doesn't negate the guilty feelings that follow.

It's not exactly what you're going through but it sounds like you have a very kind heart. It's really too bad about the cat, it'll feel better bro, really. I take the feelings you're experiencing as a sign of a healthy conscientious spirit. Thanks for caring.

    Stay green.<O:p</O:p

  9. Thanks AK, seems like you have a pretty good idea what it's like :-/ Very kind words...

  10. Sorry to hear dude, there was nothing you could do.

  11. aw man........ shit like this happens everyday and that is the sad part. i love animals.....even thought about devoting my life to them and become a vet but im just not smart enough.

but a few years ago when i was in jr high, my best friends dog died. i loved it to death. i would go over his house and play with her (Lucy was her name) for almost the whole time. she was small....very small. a maltese. she had the most innocent eyes ever. she was hyper and frisky, always full of energy.

but one night i asked my dad to go over his house but my dad said no. then a few days later i get a call from my best friend telling me that she died....his sister then told me that she got ran over by a car and it was very graphic and there were body parts all over, i dont know why she explained it to me like that but we were only in jr high.

i just hung up the phone and broke down. shit was crazy, my head was spinning. i jus wanted to fuckin die right then and there so i can see her. i eventually passed out and i woke up at the hospital.

when i got home, i walked in and my dog jumped all over me (he is a tibetan terrier). ill never take him for granted now

eventually, my best friend got another maltese that looks exactly like Lucy, they named it after her. shit man, i almost cry everytime i look in her eyes

  12. omg so sad :(

  13. Dude- it was an accident. Like you said- you don't even kill insects.

Don't beat yourself up over it.

(It's not much but hopefuly it'll cheer you up just a wee a bit... +rep)

  14. that is extremely depressing.

I agree w/ AK. You've got a good heart man, nothing wrong with that. Accidents happen bro, try not to beat yourself up over it.

  15. I really feel for you, I'd feel absolutely terrible, too. I adore my doggie more than life itself, so I completely understand. Did you locate the owner?

Easier said than done, but please try not to beat yourself up over it.

    Thinking of you.

  16. man thats to bad you hit that cat, reminds me of one time my brother came home waisted as fuck and his cat was sleeping out side on the driveway and he ran it over. man that was sad morning for him when he woke up

  17. I can see how you'd feel so sad..if i ran over someones cat i'd burst into tears on the spot...If your religous just think hes in kitty heaven..if not...accidents happen hun, and its best to try very hard not to think about it.
I really think you must be a great person if youre so caring about animals, the world really really needs more people like you.. So keep caring , and while it may seem like a curse at times...like now..its definatley a blessing.

  18. this is probably my favorite quote of all time

  19. if youre a female, im sorry. if youre a man...MAN UP THERE'S PEOPLE DYING
