It's probably already started, luckily for us, wars between the advanced nation's are not waged in the same way as WWII. It involves covert ops, economic warfare and cyber warfare.
I wonder why Saudi Arabia and Israel both want Assad gone. Also, aren't Houthi's blowing the fuck out of Saudi Arabian forces even without shoes?
We need a Syria General thread. The lines are changing every day. Frankly I'm more worried about Turkey doing something than S.A.. Russia has clearly said any ground forces will be met with Russian forces. The Baltic Fleet would destroy anything Turkey throws at them. Remember the ship we deployed during the Crimea incident? It got jammed an hit with a simulated strike 12 times. Thank God France, UK and the U.S. are telling Turkey that if they go into Syria NATO will not follow. Last thing I want is WWIII over fucking Turks.
Russia is an important counterbalance to the psychotic western elites for sure. I wonder if they assume we are using S.A. and Turkey as proxies?
I should add, I think Russia is acting like we are using terrorist groups and some countries over there as leverage, and I don't disagree. That's why I believe they stepped in to take on ISIS, knowing we were using them to perpetuate wars in ME.
I just took a few hits to get my morning buzz going before work and it struck me how plainly obvious this kind of shit is to anyone who thinks and knows a little about history and the way the government works but if you say this shit in public or on TV you are a total whack job and conspiracy theorist. You will be shouted down but not only ignorant loudmouths but also people who know deep down its true but don't want to believe it or are afraid of being in the unpopular group getting all kinds of names shouted at them.
religion. it's not a coincidence that shiite iran and hezbollah support shiite assad while all sunnis oppose him
Right now our economy in Canada is absolute shit because of the Saudi's flooding the oil market. This entire debacle started late last year, when the US began to move forward with its plan to become self sufficient in oil by drilling on a pocket of oil that stretches from Montana to parts of Canada. In response to this, the Saudi's flooded the market, thus making the option of drilling more expensive then the option of continuing to buy oil off the Saudi's. This war will be the end of that and truthfully, the Saudi's oil will be the first target of their enemy, as that is just war, must raze resources. I don't want a war, but if this happens, they predict the price per barrel will skyrocket to almost double of what it was previously. The Alberta government is currently looking at a 10 billion dollar deficit and although, the idea of basing an economy on a non-renewable resource is less than safe, i just really hope this war happens because where this 10 billion is going to come from otherwise is anybody's guess.. The federal government has committed $250 million dollars to Alberta's debt, which will probably be about 2.5% of what the deficit will run to.
