I have the solution. Let's start a population tax. Every time you help the population grow, you give Al Gore 3 bucks
On an unrelated note, McDonalds has sold over 250 billion hamburgers so far.
Fat ppl
My teacher told me this in class... its crazy.. 7billion people... in 50 years time or more we are screwed, the population is rapidly growing.
The irony in all of this is that scientists are close in identifying the aging gene which they promise could extend the lifespan of humans in the near future. Ageing gene found by scientists could be key to longer lifespans - Telegraph Shortages of food, water, medicine already exist. WTF are they thinking? Seems they need to solve the population problem before they show us how we can live forever.
I don't think the issue of legalizing either of those is about there being too big of a population...
I don't think the issue of legalizing either of those is about there being too big of a population...
He sees them as a means to population control. Getting rid of the population 1 fetus/criminal at a time...
There is too much hate, too much corruption, too much conflict for our world to continue much longer. I am not all that concerned about it either is that bad?
"I have a very strong feeling that the opposite of love is not hate - it's apathy. It's not giving a damn."
My environmental science instructor explained his thoughts on our population reaching 7 billion a few months back. In a nutshell, he said that an environment can only hold so much (natural capacity), and that population will always begin to decline when it hits that point. ...We're already seeing a shift in our population growth, which tells me that it won't be long til population begins to decline. But heres the REAL problem. Populations naturally diminish when resources run out. But, we as humans, have been able to genetically modify crops for the highest yields, as well as livestock. Without all this science behind our food, the human population would plummet. Also, human population has quadrupeled since the 1900's. Why? Same as above, but it's all thanks to OIL. This article will sum it up. Population, the elephant in the room
Didn't realize the ocean was drying up We are hardly short on any of these things you mentioned... It's all one big misconception. I'll try to show some proof later but the comp I'm on doesn't have a spacebar so it's a pain
Most of the population increase isn't in developed countries, (USA, most European countries, Japan, etc.). We have Africa and Asia to thank for the millions and millions and millions of hungry, poor, illiterate, practically helpless people everywhere. Of course, they have Western imperialism to blame for their problems. Oh well, I guess all this means is more people get to suffer the awesome experience called "Life on Earth".
