Heavy fucking metal lol. Only 80's and 90's shit like Slayer and Pantera though. I like hip-hop, but not when working out.
if I need a jolt the band Rise Against really hits the spot (heavy metal). Then for rap Waka Flocka usually puts out some decent angry rap. But honestly 90% of the time I just listen to music that sounds good to me. Lately been Kendrick Lamar's album which is hardly upbeat typical "gym music".
Well, usually. I'm more of a Kendrick Lamar, J Cole..etc type of guy. But On work outs, I listen to alot of trap music...Gucci, 3 6 mafia..yo gotti...waka..i like danny brown too..pastor troy..anything that is upbeat..alot of hi hats... The other day.. I started exercising to Rave music...eehh..its alrite. Yuo can focus in more on the beat.

" 8tracks " is a good app to use for working out. It has a lot of user made workout playlists. Also there are many other categories.
Deff some Rage, Original Metallica, Pantera, etc. None of the new metal stuff tho. Initial D soundtrack on the way there, gets me fuckin PUMPED!!!!
I usually just listen to hotties in yoga pants moan from the exertion of lifting their 15 lb dumbbells. About the best motivational music I can hope for.
yahe mang, i listen to G.K.M.C all day at the gym. Gets me soo pumped for a workout. Compton, M.A.A.D City, Sherane, etc. the whole album is great. thats soo weird i thought i was the only one that listened to initial D at the Gym. Its where i got my name for Grasscity. Forever Young is probably my favourite track.
