its fucking awful. My friend and I toked up and then we worked out in the gym and it was terrible we weightlifted, ran, and more and it was the worst high for me. Im also in good shape and my friend was acting like it was nothing have yall ever worked out high and was terrible for yall to?
You might have just smoked too much before you work out? Also, smoking tends to dehydrate you, so after you smoke you should pound some liquids to counter act that effect. I think smoking and going for a run is seriously enjoyable. It can affect performance sometimes though.
Hey does anyone have a recommendation for the best weed to smoke before lifting weights, doing cardio, or playing sports? I'm assuming it would be a sativa, or sativa dominant hybrid, but can anyone PLEASE advise me on a specific strain that works well for you before physical activity? Thanks
It really depends on you (and maybe the music you are playing). Thers times when I have no patience for cardio, others times is feels great man! I usually have a pretty solid experience with weights machines, but not free weights. Swimming is fun, but it seems like when I am swimming laps, the high wears off real fast. Mountain biking is fun as hell, so long as you don't have any killer climbs. Skiing is my favorite. High, floating, speed, music, all at once. Just another day in paradise
I would never workout while high. I'm a runner and I take my performance seriously. Well... not seriously enough to quit smoking. Running high would destroy my pace.
Man. I used to always light up before the gym. I'd go to a nice parking lot down the street and kinda box my cAr with a few bowls outta my glass pipe. Then I'd walk the block. Throw in my ear buds and get a nice work out it

For the record , I think the post workout high while driving home from the gym is way better. Seat back, radio going, heated seats, take the long route home..
Yea bro, I plan on doing similar when I get out to SoCal. I used to play basketball quite a bit and would smoke before and run 5/5 full court for hours, but now I just primarily lift weights, do elliptical and bike, and play tennis. I'm thinking Pineapple Express or Green Crack would be best before fitness but that's just based on my internet research (cannabis reviews lol). I've never smiled medical grade so I'll prolly be blitzed

you shouldnt really be smoking anything if youre working out. but getting stoned is just a waste if youre gonna work out really... ive done it before but i wasnt that stoned and it jsut made me feel even more tired and dehydrated--not nearly as productive as a sober workout
I personally would never do my cardio while high, but I can get in insane lifts and hit new PR's when I blaze. I mostly stick to heavy sativa's, I like the added intensity.
Yea man, when I used to smoke and work out I't actually feel easier than normal and more intense, but if I smoked and then went on treadmill, after 5 min or so I'd be like " fuuk this" Lol. Do u think pineapple express or Green crack are good before weights or just any heavy sativa?
And besides what I said before you lose your high after working out IMO so why waste a high like that
I smoked up just a bit before a swimming workout and it made me hyper sensitive to the water temperature, especially in my ears. It was horrible. I only lasted a few minutes and had to bail...
