Workin Out and Smokin the Ganja

  1. I workout and smoke the ganja on a VERY REGULAR basis! I just am curious as to how many other people out there do the same thing??? Most people ask me how the hell I can lift and be stoned, but it actually helps me keep my focus.

    Another issue is the muchies....What do you do to keep you from eating a bunch of BS? Drinking coffee helps me big time!

  2. I feel like I wouldn't have as much strength when high, and I definitely wouldn't have as much motivation.
     
  3. When I get high and workout my high is killed within minutes. That's what I do when I need to get sober is just go run or do some pushups.

    Also, never get the munchies, never have. My appetite is gone when I'm high.
     
  4. Yeah I think working out and being high are two things that I wont be mixing. Ive tried.
    And it didnt work as well. But if it works for you then thats great. I do often wonder if smoking herb affects my body in a negative way. I dont think so though, just keep your munchies clean, dont go crazy on chocolate/chips/cookies u know the deal. Grab something.. different.. a grilled cheese sandwich is already much better ;)
     
  5. I went from 245lbs benching 135 to 175lbs benching 315lbs in 6 months. Smoking nugs everyday, but i never mixed the two. So i have zero complaints. Word. :smoke:

  7. Same here. I always have a prepacked bowl ready to smoke on the way home kind of like a reward. :cool::smoking:
     
  8. I like smoking like a bowl pack if im biking or running, it seems to make it a little more enjoyable and i never seem to loose my high.
     
  9. For me, I use smoking as motivation to finish working out. lol.
    But when I try working out while I'm high, I fail.

    lol yeah, when I go to the gym stoned it's reallly obvious. People sort of know me cuz i've been going to the gym for almost 2 years, and when I come in stoned I'm a totally different person. I'm pretty much just really low key, smile, and chuckle alot. Seeing gym people doing gym things makes me laugh when I'm stoned.


    I don't do it that often because I don't like driving stoned or with bud.

    oh, and I have no idea what you mean in the 2nd paragraph. What I do is usually just make sure I'm set with all my fish oil and multi vitamins, maybe drink a little tea for a small boost of caffeine, and some oj for a little sugar high. maybe a small amount of protein if I hadn't had any earlier that day, but I usually eat protein when I get home along with some good dark wheat bread sandwich. I should eat brown rice more. need to get some dank recipes so that it's not so bland.

    I wouldn't consider myself a professional body builder, or whatever, but that's what I do. just eat a well balanced diet with a little more protein than usual. cept for tonight I'm eating a shitload more protein than usual with this steak and dry merlot. still haven't finished the steak, but now I'm about to bust into this 22 oz "redhook esb original ale." haven't tried it before. crossing my fingers that it's gonna be ultra dank.

    okay, so your question is how to avoid "bs." does that mean like corn dogs and microwavable burritos, or fast food or what? coffee helps you avoid that stuff? maybe I'm just a little thick because of the alcohol and the benzos, but what the fuck are you talking about?
     
  11. When I was 17 - 22 years old I worked out at least 6 days a week. Smokin weed was like part of my workout. :D I would get off work, throw music on, and spark a bowl. Wait till I felt good and stoned then begin working out. For some reason listening to music while stoned makes me want to workout WAY more.

    Coffee is also GREAT for workin out. If u feel worn out from work or school, just drink a nice 4 shot coffee and u will be READY to go.
     
  12. Wenahaone - All I was asking was what other people do to control munchies. Myself...I drink coffee. I know how to eat healthy, cuz that's what I do.
     
  13. I control the munchies when im high by putting in a chew, skoal straight, kills my hunger and occupies me forever due to cottonmouth. i dig it
     
  14. I find that it is better to smoke after my workout is done. Sometimes I will blaze right before I go.

  15. love working out smackd helps me focus dont feel as much of the burn so i work harder... about the munchies i dont really get them alot anymore.... wen i get hungry i judt do something else and since im smackd i forget about being hungry so no munchies for.... my input

  18. im in total agreement with original poster....when I'm high its like I can feel the burn more intensely and push my muscles to contract until they are failing and it doesnt hurt or bother me....wand failing is how your body recruits more muscle fibres - so it doesn't fail next time. works for the big muscles but also the small isolating muscles too

    anyways, thats how I roll
     
  19. Hmm nope nope not at the same time. I like to smoke afterwards too, cool down, relax. If I get high before I would never have the motivation! And I like to eat popcorn to take care of the munchies. You can eat a huge bowl and have only about 150 calories. Keeps me from eating too much shit.
     
  20. I often blaze in between sets. IT helps me push myself a LOT farther, and I can push myself a lot farther. I like working and smoking and I need to take advantage of the small amount of time that I have.
