    so today i was riding bike and whentonto the sidewalk for 1 minute to avoid getting hit by a car.. as soon as i go back onto the fucking street...Woop woop dats dah sound of da police...Well, i got a 25$ summons no big deal...but i gotta waste my whole entire fucking day traveling to the city to pay this shit... aint that some bullshit lol...bout to relive my stress lol :smoke::smoke:

    Yeah, it is illegal. No, it's not private property. Bikes have to obey the rules of the road. A sidewalk is for walking.

    i've heard you can't be on the sidewalk, has to be in the bike lane but i've never been a big bike rider

    Well shit. I ride my bike on the sidewalk all the time, I'm terrified of riding it on the road. Worcester has some awful drivers..

    Now I feel bad for telling that kid to know his laws :eek:

    It's illegal to do so everywhere.

    Most cops don't give a damn about it though. If you ever get cited for it you can bet that cop was just having a shitty day.
