Best run yet. my soil recipe. fox farm nutes. 2x 600w hid, 2x 600w led .total 1800 true watts.. this should push 3 lb or more..its in jars now I'll have true weight in a few weeks.. 2x critical cheese, 2x Kalashnikov, 2x Buddha kush, 2x sapphire og. Note: the only thing I changed this run, same plants same setup, was I started PHing my water. I have well water so I didn't think I needed to......2x the weight difference.. way to go 5.!!! i usually do NOT suggest this, but.... it looks like you could veg them a little more and gain some finishing height, that might double your yield again.! how tall were they at harvest.?
2x 600w HPS can grow plants 30 inches tall. the extra 6 inches would improve yield.!! maybe 2x the weight.!! 24" is what i go for with a 400w HPS.. i recently heard of a grower getting good canopy penetration with 36 inch tall plants under a 600w HPS, idk if 3 feet tall is right for a 600, but it sounds possible because of it's efficiency. 36" canopy is right for a 1000w for sure.!
Yes I agree, I could go a lot bigger . But I also like different strains, 8 plants fits the bill....but next yr I'm rolling out panda film, and light movers. So I may try 1 under a 600 just to see....im also going to grow 2 in coco..... Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
what i am saying is.... keep your current grow style, just let em go another week or so in veg to gain some height.! with the extra height they will be slightly bigger around also, but it looks like you have the room for it.!!
2x 600w HPS with 2x '600w' LED will cover 3'x8' area (75w/sq.ft.), 50-75 w/sf is ideal for efficiency, and would be great for 8 plants.!! you should be getting 2-4 pounds (32-64 oz) every grow and with your obvious skills that is VERY possible.!

the clones were more mature then their parents were, they were more ready for flower.! a mother's age is it's clone's age also.! I don't understand it so i can't explain it, but I have seen this first hand many times.
