  1. What would be the best would to use to construct a cab?

  2. I guess any wood with high density.... as far as I know the higher the density the more fire resistant it is..... considering you are going to put hot lights in there I guess it would be a wise thing to consider...

  3. Any definite answers?

  4. Hardboard, also called high-density fiberboard, not to be confused with 'hardwood', is a type of fiberboard, which is an engineered wood product.
It is similar to particle board and medium-density fiberboard, but is denser and much stronger and harder because it is made out of exploded wood fibers that have been highly compressed. Consequently, the density of hardboard is 31 lbs. or more per cubic foot (500 kg/m³)[1] and is usually about 50-65 lbs. per cubic foot (800-1040 kg/m³). It differs from particle board in that the bonding of the wood fibers requires no additional materials,[2] although resin is often added. Unlike particle board, it will not split or crack. It is used in construction and furniture. Hardboard is produced in either a wet or dry process. The wet process leaves only one smooth side while the dry processed hardboard is smooth on both sides.

  5. I used plywood, 2x4's. It isn't critical. Just get it light tight and well vented. Also make sure you have room for the potting container, the light, and enough growing space to keep you happy. (You can't fit a 3' tall plant in a 4' high box.)

  6. I plan to make it 5 or 6 ft

  7. Do you have dimensions made out? I would use plywood.

  8. Nothing set in stone but roughly 24Lx20Wx60H

  9. And what kind of ply wood? Ha so many kinds at least an in. Thick huh?

  10. Once you see the prices you will go 1/2

  11. Ha that bad huh? Lol is there any specific kind that would be better?

  12. No....just get something and paint it with kilz paint...flat white....done
