I am posting in hopes that someone here has a similar setup that can throw me some ideas. i want to remove the drawer so there is more room. i need a couple more inches in length and width priority is stealth so the front must look like the original. back cannot move. sides could but i'd rather the front be the door. so what i need is a way to lightproof it, and a way to open and close it so that it looks like it hasn't been altered (from the front). surely someone is using one of these for small grows... i'll start there. if no one pops in in the next day i'll take some pix and explain what i've got better and what i need
forget this. i've decided this thing is just too small. i'm going to search for another type of cabinet.
gj, i wouldnt recomend a wood cabinet for fire hazard, unless you paint it with some fire retardant paint
thanks. good point. i've been eyeing those plastic garage storage 2 door cabinets. i like them, but don't know how the hell i would modify/hang/attach things to the plastic. i'm sure someone has used them before. i'll look around here. same goes for metal cabinets. i just want to hang a light, a fan, and mount exhaust fans. not sure how to do that with the thin metal or plastic
