I just got back from the hospital last night due to the worst migraine I've ever had. The night started off normally, me studying and smoking. I started to kind of feel sick to my stomach, so naturally I take a few more hits to maybe ease it. An hour goes by and I've now got a small headache. I've had migraines since I was a little kid, not bad enough where I've had to go to the hospital though. About 2 hours later I start to feel really sick. My head is searing with pain, despite taking my migraine meds. At this point I'm in tears crying and throwing up. This is the really shitty part. My phone was in my car that my roommate was borrowing, I had no way to call anyone to help. Luckily my roommate finally comes home. He sees me lying on my bathroom floor curled up in the fetal position. Anyway we decided I have to go to the hospital because something wasnt right. After throwing up on the waiting room floor 3 times, they finally took me in when they said it was going to be a long wait. To make a long story a lil bit shorter, I had to spend the night there where they gave me some morphine lollipops and sleeping pills lol...It sucked so much, today I'm still feeling like trash but a lil happy due to my pills=X... Do any of you get really bad migraines like this?? They absolutely suck, nothing helps, not even morphine..The best thing is to just dose up on sleeping pills.
I used to get migraines once in a while.... I'd always just lay face down in my bed with all the lights off. Its probably the worst feeling in the world.
Whenever I used to get migraines I would sit in a bath for hours until it went away. I've never had anything like you experienced though. But I saw a guy in the ER one time that couldn't even stand he was in so much pain due to a migraine.
Oh yea for some reason pulling my hair seemed to help the pain. It sounds weird but there is something about it. I didnt pull it out or anything, just a tug
I get migrains like this, almost monthly. AS OF LATELY i havent as much. but honestly i know exactly how you feel. im a big guy like 6'3 200+. and i STILL cant take that kind of pain. it literally feels like your going to die man. my vision gets fucked up really bad and i just cant take it. i think it might be optical migrains. not sure, my dad has a history of them and had to go to the hospital as well. pm me man if there is anyhting i can do, i find if i smoke a lil heavy indica bud, if im lucky it takes the pain down A SMALL bit and takes the edge off. just dont cuagh. sometimes i wouldnt even smoke becouse it was just too bad.
use should read up on the shroomery's forum or erowid about mushrooms as a preventative treatment for cluster and migraine headaches. I believe there has been much research to prove that psilocybin can prevent headaches up to a year after the dose. The treatment is still affective below tripping threshold dosages, so you chould still take it if you weren't up for tripping
I don't get migranes but I do get these INTENCE sinus pains in my jaw and then it kinda crawls all over my face. It was so bad under my teeth that I thought I broke a tooth but it was just sinus'. They cause my head to hurt fo fucking bad I would have blown my brains out if I had a gun ( the finger gun just doesnt do the job ). Sucks ass the most hopeless feeling and it seems to never stop. I too am a BIG guy 6'9" 400 and I can take pain but my sinus' turn me into a blithering baby. Even the great gonge doesn't help
