    hows it going, alright my plant has sprouted and has its first two sets of leaves, do i trim the bottom two off? also im running them 18on/6off, im trying to flower quickly. i was looking for suggestions to set my timers by, Also what stage the plant should be at when my lighting needs to be changed.
    I know this is kind of broad but ill take any answers i can get

    If you trim off the bottom two leaves, you will kill your sprout. These leaves feed the sprout until it's strong enough to survive on its own. Within a few weeks, the two big fat leaves will yellow and die.

    I'd suggest, if you want a quick harvest, investing in an HPS system and keeping it on 27/7 to let the plant veg. Then when it's about a foot and a half tall, cut the lights to 12/12. Make sure the 12 hours of darkness is not interrupted or you could mess up the plant.

    hows it.......i think you will find alot of us use 18/6....your plant needs time to rest....
