juat wondering if its too early for the pistils to be turning red/ orange on some of the buds. Not all of them. But about 15. Should I be concerned? No problems with nutrient burn. No leaf discoloration. No other issues.

  2. It does seem abit early for them to turn that red, very interesting.

    How old are hey?

  4. Should I be worried? They are otherwise very healthy

  5. Is there any chance they've been pollenated?

  6. No. None at all. I was watching that carefully. And they are growing fine. Like I said it's not all of them. Just a handful. There was no pollen sacs. It's an otherwise healthy plant. I'm confused

  7. I wouldn’t be too worried

  8. Thanks. I was getting worried

  9. Perfectly normal.

  10. My last grow self pollenated. There were never any male flower sacs, but nanners had formed on six of my buds. I never saw them until I found a seed (had never seen one at all except in pictures). To my eye, they camouflaged pretty well. Maybe not your case, but I was extremely confused until I saw that one.

  11. My guess is a rogue nanner pollinated some of your buds. Keep an eye out for them its enough that one small banana opens and this happens. You will know for sure come harvest if you find seeds or not ;)

  12. Pistils change color for many reasons, they will change color naturally from maturing or being pollinated.. unnatural causes are bruising ( this can happen even just from rain so if its rained that can be what bruised them ) obviously touching will bruise aswell. Stressing to self pollination, more reasons but those are typically the biggest reasons for browning pistils

To note.. a Male plants pollen can travel airborne up to a couple miles..

  13. actually. I took a magnifying glass and searched them from top to bottom. No manners. But I did actually find out what the problem was. So, we had some really HOT days last week and even moving them to the shade and keeping them watered and spraying them, I guess it was just too hot. I guess it was just heat shock bcuz its only some of the exposed buds hat turned orange / reddish . All of the ones covered by leaves or inner ones are perfectly fine. Thank you

  14. If it was from heat or light stress it would have affected the leaves aswell. And if it was "heat" not "light" stress then it would affect the whole plant. Light stress causes specific damage to the plant wherever the light is the hottest , I'm sure you know.

If you were spraying the buds directly that can definately bruise them and it would explain the pattern of the bruising more than heat or light stress in my mind.

  15. I thought that's what it was, it looked like the pictures I saw. Like I said in previous posts I'm a complete newbie so I'm learning as I go. Thank u
