I witnessed this same kind of crime on 4/20 in Denver. Dude at the rally was talkin to my buddies while pulling out his spoon and bud. He proceeded to take a nug out of the bag, stick it in the bowl, and try to smash it down then light it. It was a sickening sight, I even turned away in horror.

What you want to do is just light the weed for like 1 second max and the weed will have embers on it and you will just inhale through the pipe causing air to be sucked in and the weed getting smoked. If you would hold the flame to long on the bud, it will burn to fast and you will be wasting hits to the fire
