  1. witch seed bank has the most old time sativas like muwie wowie, tai stick and stuff like that

  2. If i were you i would buy Mr Nice- Walkabout.
Its a mix pack with 18 seeds all sativas from around the globe. Pretty cheap as well.

  3. ACE, Cannabiogen, The Real Seed Company, and the Gypsy Nirvana Collection. I'd reccomend starting with ACE's Panama.

You are kidding right? None of their strains are real land race Sativa. Cannabiogen???? They claim their Caribe is 100% Sativa but it has Northern Lights in the genetic lineage????

OP, do you want true land race varieites or just 100% Sativas? Remember, most true 100% land race Sativas take 14-16 weeks to mature, even longer if not allowed to veg to sexual maturity.

No seed producer sells a pure Thai; they are too unpredictable and sexually unstable in most cases, and take forever to flower. Columbian, Brazilian, and more Central American & southern Mexican strains can take forever to flower as well, but are fairly stable on other aspects. It is hard to find true land race Sativa strains b/c of the long flowering time; few people like to wait 16+ weeks for a plant to mature. You must also consider the fact most true land race Sativa strains are very difficult to grow.

  5. Damn, 14-16 weeks is crazy. No way I'd have the patience or skill to grow that properly. Have you grown sativas that took that long, less? Was it worth it?

  6. OP didn't ask for Landrace sativa's, he asked for "old school" sativa's which ACE, Cannabiogen, and others have. Nowhere does cannabiogen claim there Caribe to be 100% sativa, heres the description they sent out:
I stick by what I said, if you're looking for old-school sativa's you're going to wan't to take a look at ACE, Cannabiogen, The Real Seed Co., and the Gypsy Nirvana Collection.

  7. real land race sativas have HUGE flowering times.. 16+ weeks.. i choose attitude as my bank of choice.. As far as good sativas go, for starters you should try out GHS super lemon haze.. it's canna cup #1 2 years in a row.. and it is good, no matter how many people say its rigged.

  8. No, Super Silver Haze from Mr. Nice that was labeled Super Lemon Haze by Arjan & Franco "won" 1st place the last two years in a row. Besides the OP asked for old school sativa's not dutch hybrids.

Yes, my Thai X hybrid is a 16 week strain, often I can let it go 18 weeks. I have a lowland Columbian and a Santa Marta Columbian, both are 16 weeks min. Is it worth it? Yes. If you like a more Sativa kind of high; which I prefer. My Lowland Thai does not even begn to show preflowers until 3 or 4 weeks into the 12/12 cycle. Once she start throwing pistols, it continues even up to 18-20 weeks. The flowers are long and undefined, kind of stringy, but the high is incredible and very long lasting; almost comes in waves even 30-45 minutes after smoking.

I feel all true line strains are worth waiting for, however they are very difficult to grow. Anyone can read about this or that kind of strain, but until they have grown a true line land race they could never understand how difficult they are to deal with. That is why few places sell Sativa land races. Almost every so-called land race you see has been hybridized to shorten the flowering time and make it somewhat easier to grow and deal with. Even many Indica strains are now hybridized.

Super Lemon Haze is a feminized version of Lemon Skunk(a Dutch Lemon strain[I think it is the old Green Lemon] X Skunk #1) crossed with Neville's Haze. Few know about Green Lemon, it is an old Dutch strain created prior to US genetics beng mported to Holland. A very heavy citrus scented mother was used from the F1 offspring to produce the seeds. If you actually believe you will get the same quality GHSC used in the HTCC, you may be disappointed. Remember that these places have the money to use the very best grow rooms/greenhouses, and the capability to grow literally 1000's of plants for their selections. We unfortunately, do not have that benefit due to laws, limits in MMJ states, etc...

i've seen you say this before. not to be a dick or nothing im just curious you got a source? also y not just pass mr. nice ssh as their ssh y change the name?

  11. well it's pedigree is Male: Super Silver Haze (prolly shantibaba's cut) x Female: Super Skunk..

so it only makes sense that to use the best SSH cut.. but not everyone has an amazing ssh male laying around to cross with.

  12. I thought they used Neville's Haze for the original version, I see it is SSH. But the other half is Lemon Skunk. They claim Citral in the genetics, however i have grown several varieities of Citral nd it is seems to throw phenotypes like the old Green Lemon, and the characteristics resemble it very much as well.

I very much doubt the Super Lemon Haze is a true SSH, most SSH I have grown and seen grown is more of a spicy heavy scent and taste.

Where are you getting your information? Greenhouse does not utilize males, they cross female clones by reversing the clones sex with chemicals (STS). The given lineage of SLH is SSH x Lemon Skunk not SSH x Super Skunk.

Smoke reports from experienced smokers who ventured to the cannabis cup, the SLH entered the past 2 years is the Core cut. Arjan's been caught rigging the cannabis cup before, the first HTCC he entered in (after top breeders Shantibaba and Neville sold their share of the company and left to Switzerland to create the Mr. Nice seedbank) he was caught buying votes.

  14. well i cant +rep you right now but thanks for the info

  15. let me refine this post tell me where to get tai stick or muwie wowie

Good luck finding true Thai genetics. You can find some reworks and hybrids, but few places sell true line Thai b/c it is has a very long flowering time and can be very difficult to grow.

Maui can be found in some hybrids, but again, most Hawaiian strains are Sativa and have long flowering times, not to mention they can be very difficult to grow as well. Some places offer variations and maybe you could search one of the resellers to fnd smthing close to what you are looking for.

Thai Stick??? It says 11-14 weeks, I have literally grown 1000's of Thai plants(have well over 1000 plants in 3 different varities from my Thai X cross alone) from many different regions, not one has ever matured in less than 18 weeks, most take 20 weeks as stated in ACE Seeds description; which is a hybrid much lke the first half of my Thai X which was a lowland and highland cross. If I was to choose frm those 2 choices it would be the ACE Seeds version b/c they are more inline with my personal experiences in growing Thai strains, which I have been growing since the early 80's.

  17. Yes, the flowering time is inaccurate. Someone over at Icmag is doing a grow of GN's Thais Stick and its's currently at 22 weeks flowering

I have a pack waiting in the fridge but I've yet to pop them.
