wisdom teeth, snow and horrible Goodfellas references

So a few days ago I got my wisdom teeth taken out. As anybody whos had this done knows, that mean no smoking, unless you wanna run the risk of getting dry sockets (which are horribly painful). So for the past few days I've been stuck in the house due to my recovery and the fact that Delaware has virtually turned into the North Pole with all this snow in the past week. Finally a few of my boys made it over to my house and we spent a good amount of the night playing COD.

Around 12 a.m. or so my boys decide they wanna go toke up. However, they feel bad just leaving me, knowing I can't smoke and that I would be sitting at home bored. So my boy <ike comes up with a simple solution...I just pop one of the percs i got for my medication and then hotbox 3 blunts so that I can get a nice contact high . Since a valley ride is out of the question, we roll to one of our favorite spots, park up, an proceed to box. One hour, an 1/8 of some quality mids and a few shotguns later I was feeling quite decently stoned. So we begin what should have been, our short ride home.

We're about halfway home (the ride only takes about 10 mins or so) when my friend Mike, who's driving his POS 98 Saturn, decided to go down a street with a steep hill, instead of the longer way home, which had no hills. We're halfway down the hill before we noticed the large amount of black ice towards the bottom of the hill. Mike slammed on his brakes...but it was too late. We went straight into a 4 ft high snowbank at the end of the hill. No problem, Mike says, I'll just cut the wheels from side to side and dig us out. Nothing. So we begin to utilize any resources our dumbasses could think up. The car's cheap plastic bumper was completely engulfed in snow so we began to try to dig it out. We turned two arnold palmer iced teas into hand shovels, coupled with a funnel and a car jack as an ice pick and got to work .

After 45 mins or so we hadnt done jack shit to get ourselves out, and the few cars that passed us just kept rolling past. Mike is still trying to dig the bumper out when all of the sudden, he starts kicking the shit out of the snow and the bumper, yelling "you motherfucking mutt!! you, you fucking piece of shit!!" Me and Chris thought Mike had lost his mind in the cold when all the sudden I realized...he's quoting Goodfella's!! Still pretty blazed I played into it, "Go home and get your fucking shine box!!. It lightened up the mood a whole lot. But it wasn't helping us get unstuck. Eventually i started walking up the street until I spotted what I was looking for: a snow shovel. I carefully lifted it from a pickup's bed then went back and got to work. Still, a hour later no luck.

At this point, we were cold and tired so we got back in the car (which is, for the record, is sticking halfway out of the middle the road at 2 a.m. now) and start calling people to help get us out. Eventually we get lucky, and our friend Matt says he can help us, but its gonna take him 30 mins or so to get there. So while we're waiting...we hotbox another blunt. Matt finally shows up in his uncle's Explorer, but he forgot to grab cable ties to pull us out. So, high, cold and desperate we think of one last plan. We had Matt gently push the tail end
of the Saturn with his Explorer until we were completely sideways then just drive out. It worked!! We gave Matt a gram for his trouble, I returned the shovel to its rightful place and we finally started to make our way home...until we saw the presence of the golden arches that is McDonalds. After almost 3 hours of being high, cold and exhausted that McD's hit the spot!! of course with my teeth i couldn't eat any solid food but damn that McFlurry was good . Anyway thats my story of the week, sorry if you guys think its boring but it was pretty funny for us.

 

Well the shotguns we're admittedly a dumb idea, but the whole thing about smoking is more the change in pressure created by closing your lips and inhaling can cause the blood clots to become dislodged, creating the dry sockets. It's also why the discourage you from drinking anything from a straw. So the hotboxing was fine but like I said, I was just being stupid by trying the shotguns.

 

Haha I got a mcflurry with hot fudge mixed in. Ask for it next time you blaze and go to McD's, you will thank me later lol

I keep one in my car too, but in the little Saturn we were in there would be no room. I'm sure the guy we "borrowed" the shovel from didn't mind lol. And good luck with those with the wisdom teeth man. It was rough for the first couple days.

Well yesterday I was with the same crew as before and I decided to chance it...I smoked 2 blunts with no ill effects to report. I'm back GC!!
