  1. Maybe it is and it just isn't listed..anyways, social security. Recipients such as myself even though I'm young, should not be touched. I'm thankful.

  2. My bills come first!

  3. I'm not big into politics and only seen this thread while scrolling but I'm halfway on each side drug testing before you get government aid isn't a bad thing in whole I get make sure the person isbsober and not buying dope or selling food stamps but the other side of the argument is darker think about the parents who are more concerned with their drug use than if their child is hungry that's gonna be a lot of hungry kids and the only thing being solved is money saved I think if this is made effective then there should be a secondary option to make sure the kids in the home at least have food to eat because they didn't choose to have drug addicted parents and no 6 year-old should have to worry about eating

  4. I know a chick like that right now, I hope and pray she goes to jail for the way she puts her spice, pot and alcohol above her little girl, DISGUSTING!

  5. Yea it's sad that it happens but hope and pray for change rather have better parents than parents just try to encourage better thinking and better decision making the rest is up to the parent

  6. I agree

  7. Why should we give the government more power to violate peoples rights?

We need to reign in their overarching power, not expand it.

  9. I'm not on welfare, and I'm for it. I think the welfare should come with certain stipulations, like random alcohol testing, random drug testing (with zero legal repercussions). It should also attempt to HELP people get out of the situation, not just give them money. Set goal benchmarks, and if people don't hit them, they make less and less over time.

  10. Look, if Im not using my food stamps to buy weed, then mind your own business, because thats where your business stops.

  11. I would LOVE to be able to buy one of those hot chickens next to the checkout. Not because Im lazy, but because I can eat for a couple days for that 6$ chicken. It's a great deal Im not allowed to have in that socialist program.

  12. My taxes pay for the poors food stamps and they go buy drugs with money they could be feeding them.and their families with. My business is where my taxes are being appropriated so if you're living off others taxes while buying drugs, you are my business.

Drug test every last one of them. Kick the users to the curb and make them pay their own way through life. Have money to buy drugs, you don't need free food ...

  13. I grow my own. I dont use tax dollars to buy anything but what I am supposed to be buying with them. BTW, once the money is given to me, it is mine, not yours, you dont get to decide how I spend it, I do.

Enjoy your drug tests......its coming.....time for the country to reduce the handouts anyway. It's like when you see the signs at a state park saying don't feed the wildlife.........they become too dependent on the handouts and can't make it on their own anymore. That's how this country is becomimg, glad to see change for the positive in Wisconsin. Hopefully it catches on quickly nationwide. People have made a career out of being on public assistance, I'm for anything that helps put an end to it.

  15. There are so many ways around drug testing. Worst case, I sell an ounce and make more than food stamps give. More likely to just take a break and pass, then collect the stamps as usual anyhow. Like passing a pre-employment test, then back to smoking with a better high, and a bigger stash. My state has had testing for welfare for years, but I havent had a drug test yet.

  16. Perfect.... then you don't need foodstamps, you can make more money that way.

The mind of the poor.....scam the system to survive. It's the American way. Even if it reduces a small percentage of freeloaders I'm for it.

  17. I'm all for getting the freeloaders off the system. They make it harder for people like me, who have legitimate medical claims to get what I need, while making the monthly payments smaller. Didnt it ever occor to you that a person with a legitimate MEDICAL disability might be on welfare, and want to use legitimate MEDICAL marijuana to deal with their legitimate MEDICAL problems? Or can't you make that connection?

  18. Then you have a med card?

As long as it's a legitimate medical reason signed off by a legitimate doctor and they can pass for all other drugs that's different. Not some stoner that sleeps 14 hours a day, can't hold a job because they over sleep and gets a med card for insomnia or some other fake shit. Which in turn also makes medical cannabis out to be a joke while they're freeloading because they thinks it's owed to their lazy ass.

Countries going broke and loose ends need cleaned up. Welfare reform being a huge one.

  19. Ok thats what Im talking about. I have a bad back, some anxiety and sleep apnea. I thought you were pulling a Sessions. I absolutely agree that welfare needs to be cleaned up Tired of people driving a Cadillac collecting food stamps while I cant make ends meet.

  20. Exactly. I live a few blocks from our counties welfare office and the blatant raping of the welfare system is disgusting. I'm sorry but if someone can afford a nice car decked out with all the fanciest wheels and stereos while yapping away on the latest iPhone in their name brand clothes while smoking weed all day at the tattoo parlor, I don't need to pay for their food.

So if that means drug tests. I'm for supervised drug tests too.....drug test the hell out of them. Everytime they get link, food stamps, cash assistance, every month when rent is due and they don't have to pay or pay less, everytime their Obama phones minutes roll over. Every single time they get anything for free I'm all for drug testing welfare recipients.....no skin off my back.
