i got this old 150w hps, & the power wire is not there, so i had to wire it. the wires arnt labled or colored different, just 2 black wires. so i wired it up the way i think its supposed to be. it comes on, but the ballast gets hot, unlike my other 150w hps ballast that doesnt get hot. i used a polarized plug, so does anybody know if a hid ballast will work if the +/- wires are backwards, & what part of the plug is +, & which is -, ex: is the polarized (bigger one) the +, or is the polarized the -. i use the +/- instead of +(hot), -(nuteral)
dont worry gc, i got it all figured out. it just gets hotter than the other b/c its a multitap ballast. all is good, thanks anyway
