I'm a noob when it comes to weed in general. But to start growing I decided I want a small plant for personal use. It's a HSO Blue Dream Auto. I don't have a lot of money for lights so I'm growing it on my windowsill (with the window obviously open as the glass can refract certain light making it grow slower). It was germinated in a cup 2 week ago (Tuesday) around this time and then moved to a damp paper towel the following day about the same time (Wednesday) and kept in there till Friday, when it was moved to a Tupperware dish about 1.2 cups. This will be its permanent pot as its all I have available and I want to reduce size and scent to be subtle. It was kept in a dark damp location to keep moisture in to help grow seed, unfortunately the seed sprouted Saturday afternoon (the following day) and I didn't realize that it doesn't open until there's light so I kept it there till Sunday resulting in 2 inches of stem (put some more dirt to secure it). It has since been exposed to sunlight for normal hours with 4 hours of absolute direct sunlight for a week no movement. It looks like it's going good so far. Opinions?

Good Job m8. I like how it's growing so nicely just sitting on a windowsill. For information on growing check out this youtube DVD uploaded by 'Critical THC'. It has all the basic knowledge fundamentals for growing Cannabis. George, the narrator and face in the DVD explains everything you need to know, and more. Remember that Camnabis is of this earth. It is a weed that grows almost anywhere in the world as long as it has what it needs. Light, Water, Oxygen (Co2). Right now this seedling you have is strong and healthy. It will grow to be much shorter and more potent with a stronger light source that can be provided to it for a longer duration than the sun can to increase growth time. If you have it under a lamp that can be left on 24/7 you will be more pleased with the growth time. Also the brighter the bulb the better. If you are using a fluorescent (CFL) light get the most powerful one you can find. They carry up to 23watt CFL's at the dollar stores in Canada. I can't speak for the rest of the world though. When you want your plant to begin to double in size, start smelling dank, producing THC, and looking sexy. This is done by having your plant in 12 hours light and 12 hours complete uninterrupted darkness. This cane be done indoors whenever you want. Her roots can't see any light or they will get damaged. Wrap your cup in duck tape or paint it. Light Will damage roots! That's all the advice I have for you on my mind at this moment. If you have any questions feel free to ask me. I have plenty to share. Thanks! Yeah I was impressed at the how much it has grown for a windowsill grow, even if it is uninterrupted direct sunlight. I think it's possibly because of where I live. The sun here is known for being strong, and we get a lot of it, almost blinding on a clear bright day. And yeah, I should of moved it into the light earlier, I waited to long because of a mistaken thought and caused it to reach to far for light, ever since I moved her she hasn't grown much vertically. I'm having high hopes. I plan on using a CFL or something else to provide light while the direct sunlight isn't available. But I'm gonna try to get as much sun as possible as its been doing so well. I'll keep ya guys updated

As I'm on a tight budget, I couldn't get nothing too fancy. Actually nothing fancy at all. I really hate to say it, but I ended up having to use some Miracle-Grow Potting Soil. Lol, I feel like it's a sin considering everyone says it's bad cause it's a hot soil. As you can tell though there doesn't seem to be any nutrient burn yet if any.
Should of at least went for the organic stuff! Last year we grew 3 OG 18 plants in miacle gro (no added nutes) and it reached about 5 feet tall in a 5 gallon bucket with a crazy environment. It was in a backyard of an apartment and it got maybe 4-6 hours of sun, usually the weather being 100 degrees or more ( we sold all 3 before they were budding) I just think the main issue is that it might not do great when it starts flowering. Never got that far tho! Have you though about adding nutes later?
Im thinking of possibly getting flowering nutes to promote the bud growth. How did those plants turn out before you sold them?
I think it would be very useful since youre not using quality soil. They stretched a little. But they were dark green and happy as ever. It was my first time messing with a plant and my uncle was sketchy, but he let me cut the plant to top it. The one plant i kept topping was the best. Someone offered $200 for something we spent $20 on.
Hey man, the miracle grow will be fine growers just do not like to use it because it will burn a little no matter what and there is no way to flush it all the way from what i have learned. You can still grow a really nice plant and some really decent smoke mg just isnt the best choice, just be careful on any added nutes and keep your eye on it and also get yourself a nice affordable mars hydro 300w when you can and it will be fine
Damn, nice profit. I believe I spent about $40 for these seeds... I live in the US, and my being the cautious dude I am wanted to pay with a Vanilla Visa, but you can only use them in the US, all seed banks aren't. LUCKILY I found a cool Seedbank out of Michigan that had the exact strain I originally wanted (I looked through so many seed banks adapting to my choices) so I was ecstatic to see that, costed me $38 for 3 HSO brand Blue Dream Autos. Cool thing is although they shipped after 3 days it took 2 days to ship, and without telling they threw in 3 extra Ron Swanson Kush seeds, which I'll grow another time. It was a great price. Some places are ridiculous and will charge $70 for a single seed!

I wanted seeds so bad and i impusle bought off gorilla seeds. $45 for 3 autoflowering seeds. One arrived cracked, the other 2 arrived and one died as a seedling... it took them 2 weeks to replace my seed. So i paid about $23 a seed.(since one died) My bag seed seem to be doing great and im buying clones soon. Name of the seed bank??
There's a few pricy ones but the price I got HSO Blue Dream Auto was great (if you don't know, Blue Dream is a sativa dominant mix of Blueberry Indica and Super Silver Haze Sativa, sounds like an awesome fuckin mix) The seed bank is called TheDankTeam, they have a large selection of seeds from other banks, not really their own, BUT it's because they ship out of Michigan to the US, not sure if it will ship to outside the US, although not positive on this. It's the only US seed banks so yay. If you can't, I heard Nirvana is promising, also seedsman did look decent. Hard to find good deals on good seeds like I did...
Yeah i heard ilgm is out of us too and they have amazing deals. But half people say theyre a scam and the other half seem to love them. So idk. Ill check it out
I looked into ilgm before I realized I couldn't make out of country purchases, with the $40 I had I would of got much. Their prices are a little high, but I've heard good reviews and their customer service is pretty good, I got pretty fast replies when talking about if I could use the gift card
Tons of people claim theyre super quick to reply about inquiries when youre interested in buying. But once you actually get your order, contacting them is impossible. Tons of people say they dont ship the seeds at all but leave a disclaimer that they wait 30 buisness days to re-ship. Thats almost 2 months. Those reviews on the site seem too fake and to be written by people working for that company. The site just seems so legit, but idk
