  1. sup guys I got a Pineapple Express and Blue Mammoth autos. The PE is doing great... the BM is okay but she doesn't appear near as strong as the PE.

This is my first time growing. The plants are nearly 3 weeks old from planting. Here's the setup...

    2 three gallon pots
    6 26w 6500k CFL's
    3 26w 2700k CFL's
    Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil

I leave the light on 24/7. I haven't given them any fertilizers or anything.

So why does the Blue Mammoth not look that great? Any ideass??? help a noobie out!

    Here's some pics.

I just cut the edge of the pot on the blue mammoth so the leaves could stretch out, that's the last pic.

  3. why do you have them on 24/7? how well do you function without sleep?

  4. Lol? They're not in my bedroom dude

  5. haha oh wow,

my point is: how do you think your plants can be healthy and grow without getting any sleep?

when you dont sleep how do you feel after a few days? plants are living, treat them like it.

  6. Actually... Cannabis plants don't NEED a dark period, you can veg just fine under 24/7. No problem.

BUT since they are autos, it's generally recommended that you give them some dark time, a light schedule of 20/4 would do just fine

Plants look good dude, keep it up.

  7. i have had much more success with my plants running a dark time then the times i didnt. i run 18 on in veg every time and my plants have been much healthier.

  8. what were you running before as a timing schedule?

    were they autos?

I've vegged with 24hr lighting before and it worked great. not saying thats my steadfast rule...but it works just fine. 20/4 for autos is perfect though.

  9. wtf is 24/4
