Will you get arrested if you fail a court ordered drug test?

    To put it simply, my friend, who's 20, got pulled over for a broken light. They then breathalyzed him, and brought him to the police station to drug test him after finding he had alcohol in his system (way below the limit for drunk driving btw) So when they drug test him, he shows up for marijuana, as well as alcohol. My friend's worried that he might get arrested or have his license revoked if he has to take another drug test before his hearing in September, and they find marijuana in his system again. Is this true? Could he be arrested/have his license revoked? Any reliable answers would be great, thanks!

    Well did he get a dui or just traffic court for the broken light. If its dui then hello probation which = fucked if they find weed in his system. If its traffic court then no worries. Btw yes if hes is tested again for dui reasons and he fails he they will suspend his license and he may face jail time. It vary's state to state though. In ny a dui holds the same exact repercussions as a reckless driving charge.
