Will Weed Grow Outside in Fall?

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by One More Bowl, Oct 16, 2012.

  1. I planted a few seeds outside yesterday and I know it probably won't grow good but will it grow at all?

  2. a plant sprouting now will not have time to grow mature buds before the end of the season kills it.

  3. depends on the latitude of your grow...

Alaska - fuck no, it won't grow

Panama - oh hell yes, big healthy plant

  4. Exactly. Where are you located? (Generally)

  5. Technically its spring in Panama

No you can't plant seeds in the fall.

  6. I just moved a plant outside a month ago to force flowering (northeast here) then ill bring it back inside and feed till harvest.

  7. You realize it's easier to force flowering when you have control over your lighting - and it'll just re-veg if you put it back under the same light schedule ...
All you should have done was switch to a 12/12 schedule - instead you have just stressed your plant...

    Research!

  8. yeah, these harsh 50F socal winters are really rough on a plant :p

Trying to save on the electric bill my friend. Stressing doesn't matter to me if I come out with a hermie then so what doesn't matter to me. And you do realize when you change the light schedule there is stress either way....
