Will Weed Ever Get To Strong? Few Other Questions.

    Hello friends! I'm pretty new to smoking weed, and just purchased my 2nd bag in my life. 
     
    I was wondering about weed quality. I know if its brown and really dry its shwag, but do you think if I posted a picture of my bud that you can tell me the strain? Or is that not possible?
     
    Also, I noticed when I smoke I don't get the munchies as much as other people, I don't get that hungry. Anyone else not get the munchies as much? 
     
    Anyways, I remember reading in a lot of places that THC of Mary Jane is stronger now then it was in the 70's. If that's true, what will it be like in 100 years? Will Marijuana become so strong that the relaxed high we know and love will become too strong and start to have side effects. 
     
    Or am I just being paranoid?  :smoke:

    Well first off; welcome to the club!

    It is highly (lol) unlikely that someone could correctly guess the strain just by looks, sorry to say. But its still worth posting the pics!
     
    And as far as anybody knows; that whole "weed isn't what it was in the 70s" thing is completely unfounded, no real evidence to back it up. Many old stoners will claim that there has always been good weed and bad weed though.
    But even if that isn't the case; I think we would've already made it too strong by now if we could. There is no possible way we're gonna make marijuana that is more potent than good hash without some sort of crazy genetic engineering; and the hash oil thats so popular these days doesn't seem to be too strong for people, so yeah you're just paranoid haha

    No, we have perfected growing techniques. Some of the highest percentages for weed vary in the 30-40% thc. And those nugs look like a solid chunk of trichosomes basically. The reason it won't get any higher, at al least not by very much, is because the plant can't be purely thc, there needs to be cbd's and plant matter too. Now concentrates like oil/wax/shatter/hash can all be much higher because it is extracted thc, those can be in the high 90% range if made right. Your first fat dab will put you on your ass haha

    @WiggyiBowYeah  I assumed someone wouldn't be able to identify it. It seems like good weed, orange hairs and you can see a lot of crystals. Smells really good too!

    @[member="BurnAFewDown"]  I see, I really want to try a dab but have no idea where to get some. Oh well, weed is good enough.I have noticed lately there are a lot more people dabbing.

    No we can't tell strains by pics unless it's extremely distinct but the chances are still slim.
     
    I don't get the munchies hardly at all maybe 1/20 times i'll get 'em. So nothing weird there we all react differently to gettin baked.
     
    Ya like the guy above me said i doubt weed will get much stronger as we have growing techniques down to a fine science. They may increase a bit but it will never match concentrates. There will never be side effects from weed being too strong other than people greening out and the occasional munchies :p
