will unrefrigerated urine be ok for test

    i got some clean piss on friday but forgot to put it in the fridge. its been at room temp for about 48 hours. i need it less than 24 hours from now. will it be good enough that the lab wont fail me? thanks.

    Hate to bring the bad news, but if it sat at room temperature that long it's most likely bad by now.

    IDK man, unrefrigerated piss goes bad pretty damn soon, I wouldn't try it unless you had NO other possible option.

    maybe it can be frozen? Then while its on ya person it will slowly melt with ya body heat. Maradona was using cocaine in pro soccer for years without being caught, he had a bottle in the shape of a penis on a key ring in his underwear for years, using the piss in that every time they asked for a sample. Dunno if freezing it will work or if it will ring alarm bells in lab.

    took the new batch in this morning. temp was good and she tested it with a test strip in front of me. said it was clean. such a stressful process. i feel like a criminal. :confused:

    Yeah, the cooler temperatures of the refrigerator only slow the growth of bacteria in urine. Most urine tests are done to determine if bacteria is present in the kidneys. So, if the test is done and there is an abundance of bacteria in the urine from being left out of the refrigerator instead of an abundance from an infection in your kidneys, you can see where this could be a problem.

    In this case, there would be nothing wrong with testing this urine for THC.

    Hopefully that makes sense!

    Man, I'd find some other piss. I feel that it will smell quite unusual when you hand them back the container.
