Will this work for odor control?

    I'm trying to setup a NGB style box, and I found this thingie here http://www.scythe-eu.com/products/a...zer/ionizer.php
    which is supposed to be negative ion generator for PC, it would come in handy because I have to use PC fans for venting, blowers simply make too much noise.
    The box is 2,5'wX2,5'hX1,2'd.
    Any thoughts?

    these fans no good for venting as an outlet, would be cool for intake, check ebay for carbon filters, as for smells i have heard catlitter in a tray can help deodourise can any1 back this up ?

    yeah somebody please back that up...cuz that would be a better cheaper way, instead of me buildin something.

    yeah I heard this is tru, but when water mixes with it from the humidity it turns gelly like and im not sure if it still works or if you have to change it but i read something similar to this yesterday.

    I beleive they somehow had it in the exhaust tube which made it turn to the jelly but I dont kno if the results would be the same from having it in a tray.

    I also may try this way if somecan can prove that it is an effective way of de-oderizing.
