  1. 2 socket 95w compact fluorecent
    2 95w 2700k blub
    2 95w 6400k bulb
    mylar
    fox farm ocean forest organic
    fox farm grow big
    fox farm tiger bloom
    rainbow mix grow
    rainbow mix bloom

i have a dresser i am converting its specs is 3ft high 2ft wide and should i worry about over heating

  2. Sounds good for about 2-3 plants. You might need some exhaust. A computer fan might cut it.

  3. yeah i wanted to keep it small since its a dresser and wanted to either get one plant grown good and then see if 2 could work i thank you for your input i was going to have a small fan but would it need an exhaust and intake since its gonna be 1-2 plants?

  4. I think it would, yeah. In such a small grow space they'll use the CO2 up pretty fast, even though you only intend on growing a couple plants. A 6" computer fan will work for exhaust, for intake you could probably get away with just a small hole somewhere.

  5. Depends on the quality and yield factor if its for a nonprofitable smoke and your not worried about growing super potent weed you will be just fine opening the doors now and then and letting them breave. when ur ligght cycle is on u can oviusly have your door open for periods of time so heat will not be a problem for you

  6. One thing you'll need to think about is light proofing and odor control. Doesn't do any good to cut a hole for the fan if it light in during the dark periods during flower.

  7. well i was gonna buy quite a bit of mylar and proof the whole thing including the bottom of the dresser is mylar tough to cut or will i need an exacto knife to do good cuts i do want good smoke for non-profit and also to share with my peeps in tx

  8. A pair of sissors is all you need to cut mylar, you will need ventilation.

  9. i was thinking about 2 intake fans at top and 2 exhast fans at bottom or should it be the other way around i will have a CO2 bottle at the bottom and now im thinking itll pull out the CO2 but the lights and fans will be hooked to a timer is it suggested to run fans all the time or will there be conflicts

  10. Other way around. Heat rises, and you want to exhaust the heat.

  11. iight since 30w bulbs are cheap should i go with 4 of em because the sockets for cfl's would cost $10 and i got $100 to work with i dont want to skip on the lights or mylar im not wanting to settle on alluminum plus fox farm is a must just lights are an issue any feedback on what can work better will be appreciated

  12. MAJIK if i were you id paint tha inside white with flat white matt paint cheap and just as good as myler exhaust at the top alwaze for heat with the money you save on myler get yourself a mini oscilating fan. plants breathe through leaves they turn oxygen into energy through the process of photosynthesis. plant leaves (fan leaves) eat oxygen quickly thats why you need a constant supply. Pruning leaves to allow light to reach budsites (nodes) should be done however try to stay away from pruning over 50% of leaves and once you go into 12/12( flowering) do not prune at all, reason being your plant will focus on making leaves instead of beutiful flower(bud) growth, wich is da name of the game. at the end of your cycle approx 6-8 weeks into flowering. you will notice alot of leaves turning yellow this is normall and a necsissity that is all the energy bein taken from your leaves to your bud. once a leaf is fullly yellowed its ok to pull off however if it doesnt come off easily leave it on for a bit longer. remember a week beforer you harvest feed the plant phd 5.6 water no nutes(nutrients) to flush all your foreign bodies out of the plant. the plant will use all the energy it made to feed itself. this is vital to take the chemical taste away. your bud must be hung upside down in the dark for atleast a week leave ur fans on and try and put a mini heater in there or something to keep it warm.

  13. Bud I only got one thing to say, BULLSHIT, I don't know where you got your info but plants absorb CO2/carbon dioxide from the air and oxygen thru the roots. All prunning should be avoided with the exceptions of topping, fimming or taking clones as it stresses the plant. Plants do not need to turn yellow to mature a bit of nitrogen in when they begin to yellow will pick them back up and will not harm the bud development. For drying you want it cool and dry not warm and removing the fan leaves is the only way to dry, infact I remove any leaves I can so long as I can cut the whole leaf at the stem. Depending on the medium your ph during the final week/flush shoulld be either 6.0 for hydro or 7.0 for soil.

Well you did get 1 thing right, exhaust from the top intake on the bottom.

P.S. use all the lights you can, if your going to spend more on them think about getting 4 single 2 foot floros and place 1 in each corner vertically to give the best side lighting.

  14. I dont know where you got your info from BUDDY but yes plants do respire oxygen through their leaves, and pruning is a matter of opinion, I have seen a guy that literally balds his plants and has had crazy yeilds, Of course turning yellow can be prolonged by adding some N, I ment that without adding N, and even over a long period of time with added N, plants naturally use the nitrogen in their leaves to feed the bud, if yellowing at the end of a natural cycle doesnt occur, belive me u have some serious problems, as for warmth when drying, if you dont think 60-70 degrees is warm then you need to rethink your growing temperature stratagies, finally If you think 5.5 is wrong for a flush I completely disagree, my methods being, the only defficiencys you may recieve at 5.5 are magnesium and phosperus, now im not sure how much you know judging by your post, so ill explain in more detail. Magnesium acts as a cofactor causing catalysis, (chemical reactions inside your plant) it helps the way your plant uses its new nutrients, however as no new nutrients are being added, its irrelevent. Chances of seeing a phosperus block at 5.5 are slim, but will have no negative side affects during flush, also phosperus is pretty much the last thing you want to be smoking.
