Will this light work?

    I have found this light setup out of a fish tank, one bulb is a daylight bulb and the other is a bright white bulb. Will it work?

    I mean it could. But I wouldn't use just that light. It doesnt look to powerful. What are its specs?

    No way you need way more wattage to grow with fluoros

    what kind of wattage are we talking? I mean it gets real warm in the cupboard its in, with a fan on it.

    heAt, mi amigo has nothing to do with it. You want like 50watts per square foot. Youd be better off going to home depot and buying some shop lights. Or some CFL's

    looking at the size those are like 15-22 watts each. Those also look really thin, might be T5's... whats the size on them? half inch? inch? inch and a half?

    imho if your gonna use fluoro tubes i'd use nothing but T5's since they are high output compared to T8/T12's.

    Ok so im going to have to get some new bulbs. Im in the UK what wattage should i use and should they be different colour bulbs?

    man I wouldn't grow if you got this many questions about lights, lighting is the easiest part of the grow imho. Read more.
