Hey guys So been really interested in growing weed for a while now and have decided to give it a shot, I live in a separate entrance at the back of my parents place and plan to grow inside my room which is well ventilated and doesn't get too hot or too cold. I have a cupboard in my room with the following dimensions... 28inches high, 30inches wide and 20inches deep... I have 2 glass covered light fittings with built in reflectors which I was going to use metal halide lamps for vegging and hps lamps for flowering Ive done some research and think using Low stress training would be best for maximising yield for such a set up. I can get my hands on clones, the strains being big Buddha cheese and super cheese. Now I would like to know: 1) is this space big enough? 2) how many plants can I fit in this space? 3) how many watts will the lights need to be? 4) what size yields am I looking at? 5) is there anything I can do if the grow starts getting too smelly? I don't mind but don't want the place really reeking if I can help it. Please guys, really would love to know your thoughts and any advice is welcome.
If your useing hid lighting like u said , no , your pot will be about 12" , youll want anouther 12" between your light and top of your plant leaving you 4" to fit your light into without growing anything in there , search.the micro grow section , if that cupbord is all you have cfls will make it possible to grow in your space
1) yes for cfls , no for hid 2) id say two will be happy 3)With cfls I beleve you will need 150w plus 75w for each plant after the first. 4) dont askabout yeild theres too many factors 5)theres plenty cam be done about smell , search diy carbon filter
plus even with CFL to get the temps down ,you will still need some air flow,,cuz even cfls get hot,,,,,,,ever thought about the next gen LEDs ,,,that could be the answer ,not much heat in them ,but you still need fresh air in there,,,,,,,mac
