You have a 30 cu. ft. space. Go to HD and pick up a 4" duct booster fan. Mount this in the top of your box as your exhaust fan. Make a 6" hole in the bottom for use as your intake - make it lightproof. You've got some time to make/buy a carbon filter. Your plants won't start to smell until Week 3-4. There are lots of DIY guides on how to make carbon filters. Or you can use ONA gel to mask the smell. GL!
