Will this cause a fire?

    So I was making green dragon, and after having the bud sit in the vodka for a week I want to bake the bud.
    I already have the bud dry but since vodka is flamable, will putting it in the oven start a fire?

    because it will activate the thc and make it thca which will bond alot faster with vodka

    The THC should already be converted because it is fat/alcohol soluble. The easier way to cook would have been with Cannabutter. Just drink some, or i guess you could make rum balls (or something analogous with an alcohol based glaze). To answer your question, were you just gonna pop the bottle in the oven (bad idea...) or just dump the vodka into a recipe? It shouldn't cause a fire in the baking (vodka is 40% abv, so its not that flammable, now 151...)

    You should be fine. According to the internet, the combustion temperature of ethyl alcohol is 689 degrees F. So unless you have one hell of an oven, it shouldn't be a problem, especially since the alcohol has evaporated. The bud will burn before the alcohol.

    I want the bud to bake. It hasnt transfered quick enough. I see crystals like crazy all over the bud.
    I want to bake it
    my question is :
    if i bake the dry bud that was in vodka, will the bud catch on fire?

    You could make some cannabutter if you wan't then make other edibles.

    It doesn't matter if it was in the vodka if its dry and the alchohol is gone. It should be the same as before it was.

    Well, its a darker color than before, yet it is dry.
    And the only reason I am doing green dragon is because I am going on a plane ride, and wont be able to smoke, yet can bring it in a container and drink it before snowboarding :cool:

    na lol this is the only reason i made green dragon because its a thc extract , in a VERY small amount of liquid. Will have the same potency IF NOT more on firecrackers, and i use shwag on firecrackers :p Im excited.
    Im doing a test run tomoro at a party im going to. Me and buddy are splitting this shit up and drinkin it then beer pong!
