Update About Advertising on Grasscity Important: A New Chapter for Grasscity

Will these sprout? Or garbage?

    Hey i planted these about 3 days ago after i germed em in a paper towel. I tried my best to make sure the taproot was facing down when i put the seeds in the little cubes, but after 3 days theres still no sprout. For the first two days i had em in my closet which gets pretty cold (55-60F) so i was thinking mayb the coldness stunk there growth but now i got em under my bed next to a heather so its a little warmer 70 degrees. So can anyone tell me from looking at the pictures if there is any hope? The taproot looks kinda confused on where its to go butt the actually seed(Shell) is splitting in half which is a good thing isnt it?

    Noone can say for sure what it will do.

    Got a story for you though. I had 3 seeds that I had dropped in to a glass of water for 24 hours, then I planted then. 2 came up within 3 days. The other one, different strain, wasn't showing anything. I gave it some more water as it felt dry, gave it a few more days and nothing. I dug the seed up and it looked kind of like your pic there with the tap root all curled up. I figured it for dead, pushed it way down into the soil and left it on the frigde...WELL, maybe 5 days later I was getting a drink from fridge, I look up and there is a 6 inch long angle hair looking pasta noodle coming from the cup!
    Needless to say it was not salvageable after that....moral of story...I would not give up on a sprout under 2-3 weeks!!! Just me though!

    lol good story. I love when you just find a plant sitting on ur fridge:smoking: Your right im just gonna give it till sunday morning to show me some foilage.

    I had the same thing happen recently with my LR2. The root went down, then started coming up above the shell, then back down again. I was confused, but i kept watering it none the less, and in the end it came up and is surviving.... so far ne ways. Keep at it, you may be surprised.... who knows maybe that will be your super female!!!

    I have had a few curl... no biggie.. they will come up... mine did and flowered very nice, it always looked funny but it did help while LST..keep an eye on her
