I've lost a total of almost 80lbs in 2 yrs through diet and working out. Muscle is developing, along with a killer figure through the help of Spanks. The downside? I look like a flying squirrel naked. Even my breasts (yes Im a girl) are deflated and wrinkly *srsly*. My question is,... will this eventually go away? At some point, will it all just kinda tighten up and start to look normal? Or will cosmetic surgery have to pick up where I left off to achieve a "normal" body?
From my experience it will, protein also helps tighten up your skin and build muscle. Just do 40 min cardio workouts with a protein shake afterwards.
Your skin should recover. Look at those that get fat sucked out, and they too look like squirrels, but it eventually goes away.
Keep building muscle. That seems to help with the loose skin by filling it in a bit (in a good way). You have to maintain a low body fat for a pretty long time (a few months) to allow the skin to shrink.
Consider signing up for a CrossFit class. Or do strength training on your own. Its great for building a hot body (you know you want a nice ass ) and it will help your skin fit a lot more snugly(without it being fat). Coconut oil also helps out with stretch marks. Continue with your 30-60 minute cardio.
OP firstly good luck and congrats on the weight loss. keep at it, you're so close! it will be better there is tons of kick ass ways to push yourself physically that have to tigheten up your skin. look up: HIIT sprint training look up: circuit exercises for women check out this women. she is motivating for me as a man who works out alot i had this saved for my mom to do (she never did) amazing YouTube - Kanaal van charliejames1975
It takes a long time for skin to rebound. It will "NOT" rebound fully is it was stretched to far. I'm a personal trainer and was 430 pound about 2 years ago. The best thing to do is keep going for your goal and give your body some more time to rebound. Tone your muscles for a couple months it the best way to rebound. the surgery is not painful and is very fast. there's different types you can get. I don't like going under the knife so I would choose laser to tighten up my skin. I had moobs so I waited and yes I did rebound almost all the way but was not happy with it so had the laser used on my chest and it worked great. felt like a minor sun burn. Great work on the weight loss and change of life!
Thanks so much guys! I'm gonna try a little bit of everything. Planning a trip to GNC to look into some kind of suppliment to help with my diet (which is pretty bare, to be honest. I hardly eat and when I do its veggies or yogurt. not great lol). I tried Muscle Milk for the first time ever and omgggggg I could tell I was missing something cuz it gave me a CRAZY amount of energy all day. Hopefully adding the muscle-food and trying to push my core a little bit more will get some results in a few weeks
muscle milk is the shit! and i havent even tried it. i gotta get some! i heard its formulated like a mothers milk k please listen this is how you should eat every meal -a good carb source, thats gonna be like the bread on a sandwich. Brown rice, whole wheat pasta, whole grain bread, even white rice is good (everyone morning i make 4-5 bowls of brown rice) -a good protein source! -chicken, fish, lots of yogurt, lean beef, pork. even meat with fat is still very good and should be eaten -a good serving of 1 vegetable. or a serving of a few mixed veggies. thats it! you can have like ketchup, mustard, yogurt, tomatoes with it for some good taste. yogurt with some fat gives me all i need for taste/ get the food down. bodybuilding.com is a forum/information website with EVERYTHING you need to know theres a seperate sub section for females! check it out i know you'll find everything you need Female Bodybuilding - Bodybuilding.com Forums
oooo sweeeeet! I'm totally checkin that out! only issue I think I'll have is having to eat a breakfast and adding meat. I have a really sour stomach in the morning and having a breakfast tends to make me feel sick. Maybe a meal suppliment shake or something could fix that? Also, I never have time to actually cook a meal at home. It's usually whatever is fast and healthy. Being a full time fast-food manager working swing shifts may not be the best situation to keep a diet, but it sure is a good one to keep the cardio going rofllll
You can try intermittent fasting if you can find some time to cook. If you don't eat right it with IF it can totally fuck up your body. Read my thread on it in this section and/or PM me if you want to give it a try. In the meantime, make a bunch of chicken breasts in advance and take them to work. Also, frozen vegetables are your best friend. 2 minutes in a microwave with some water in a bowl and bam you have vegetables.
