Iv found a great spot to use in the spring but there are pine needles everywhere and iv heard that they will turn your soil more acidic is this true?
Definantly true But you can get the ph back to a good level by adding the right things anyways Lime is a good start for raising the PH Good luck 42o

Will that effect the ph enough over time just being under the pine trees for months.
Oh haha , Well in that case it won't affect your ph To be safe I would remove any needles that fall into your pots And check the PH every now and then but you shouldn't have many issues . The pine trees don't block out too much sun though do they ? 42o

They are very skinny and branchy.
