Will one indoor plant smell too much?

  1. I'm building a veg box tomorrow and I'm going to move most of them outside when they reach a certain hight, maybe giving one to my friend to grow indoors. But if I can keep one plant isolated to grow indoors, could it grow without smelling up my whole room without outdoor ventilation? Someone told me a female by itself wont smell nearly as much if you had them together. (of course not, but the plant itself compared to an individual plant that wasn't isolated) If it doesn't smell too much I might have to make a couple other boxes to spread around my room. I just don't want to have to wait to harvest my whole outdoor grow.

  2. Shes going to smell, its just a matter of what strain it is as to how easy it is to manage/cover.

  3. I kept a female purple power plant in my room and it stunk my whole house out.... gotta close door and open window that will stop a smell

  4. I was gunna order Sour Diesel x Kush in a couple weeks, right now I'm just using a couple seeds I found in some really dank buds. I was planing on putting odor elimators around the intake and outtake fans, like the CO2 would be, and have my windows open when I could. Which I'm sure someone would shut if I left it open all day and night.

  5. the best you can do is use some candles....plugins....or perhaps even better the neutralizier sprays they sell now, most of these things thou mask it.....

  6. I bought a Febreze air filter thing for $10 or so at target. Stuck it in my 3x2x3 cabinet and it cuts down on the smell from my outtake significantly. My room does not smell like plants unless i leave the door to the cabinet open. This works better with a slower outtake fan because the air needs to stay in the box long enough to go through the filter a few times to clean it up. You can also buy another replacement filter in addition to the unit and cram it into the unit so the air gets twice the filtering when it goes through.

  7. In the long run if smell is an issue then get or make a carbon filter.
