Will My Seedling Survive?

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by ronron1790, Nov 18, 2006.

  1. I transplanted my seed about 4 days ago and it sprouted today. the seed was still attatched so i carefully took it off with tweezers. i noticed that the stem that i took the seed off of is thinner than the root part. Right now its not under any special lights cause i don't have any, but leaves look yellow, is it drying or turning green? do you think it will survive?
    -thanks a lot

  2. this is really important, please answer!

  3. Get that sucka under some light!

  4. i accidentaly broke one of the small leaves off. just finished cussing for about 15 minutes. i'm assuming i should just throw it away now, right?

  5. if you have no lights than what was the point of bringing that baby to life??...

    They Mainly NEED LIGHT!!

its like killing you're own baby... cause of not feeding it

anyways i say get some lights, ferts, etc. then retry....

    (my own opinion)

  6. i was gonna keep it alive through winter so i wouldn't hastle with germination in spring, then i could just transplant it into the ground. now i only got 1 seed left-this sucks!

  7. I'd say get at least 1 or 2 cfls for $10-$15 for now. if its still alive why trash it, you never know it might make a comeback. you got nothing to lose at this point. get some light be patient and see what happens. it sounds like you maybe messed with it too much. if your going to plant your other seed your going to need light anyways. I had the shell on my seedling still attached for the first few days until I could see the cotylens trying to force their way out, then barely touched it & it came off. Good luck, hope it survives.
