After a week of my seeds germinating in moist paper towels, with no results whatsoever i took one seed and gently scraped some of the shell away (it was soft) in an effort to get the seed to germinate faster. So now the taproot of the seed is slightly exposed, so was wondering will the seed grow or is it ruined?
i usually get a good size tap-root in 3 days. sometimes it can take a while, a week or longer. make sure your paper towel isn't dripping wet.
