Will it keep the needles on your Christmas Tree?

  1. Yeah so I'm watching Mythbusters and they are testing different methods of keeping the needles on your christmas tree. So far they added one additive to one tree each:
    Bleach
    7-Up
    Aspirn
    Viagra
    Hairspray the needles
Urethane the whole tree with paint sprayers

Will keep you posted as to the results and any possible (?) weed related growing tips ;)

  2. hah i just watched that. the results were pretty damn surprising. i won't ruin it for you.;)

  3. I've never had an issue with this.

  4. same here, those fake trees work wonders

  5. Pffft I use a real tree man, just got a green thumb.

  6. yeah, what can i expect in GC. But, my tree's like older than most natural x-mas trees

  7. Yeah watching it on DVR.... you can ruin it. Any potential for growing weed?

  8. I thought you were joking.... NO. DEFINITELY NOT.

  9. hah no, the best one was spraying hair spray on the tree. a bit flammable...and, you know, probably not too good for you.

  10. damn what time dis come on i wanted to see it i seen a commercial but forgot what channel it plays on ......what is it

  11. don't think it's on now, but it's on discover, 34 where i am.

  12. 34 is TSN for me, I think.

  13. So...what worked?

  14. haha, i'v been waiting as well.

  15. Sorry guys.... LOL!
Bleach kept needles on the tree but it looked horrible.
5% fertilizer solution brought down the most needles.
Covering the tree in hairspray limited dropped needles but as mentioned above... is a fire hazard.
The control of water did almost as well.

So in closing.... just stick with plain water!
