Will it hurt my plants to go from 150W HPS to LEDs during vegetative?

    I don't want to end up with any hermies or anything. I'm currently growing 2 clones in my closet now, first time grow. I've been running a 150W HPS light for 24 hours for about one week now. I also have a LED panel that I only used a little bit during the beginning of the growth. I was wondering if I could switch to LED for a few hours of the day to easy my power usage just a bit, would this be okay?

    Nothing you do during veg will influence the sex of the plant.

    That's what I hear but apparently they still work for vegetative, not flowering though.

    Does having sex with it count?

    They work fine for flowering but dont penetrate as well as HIDs.
