Will drying in a regular bedroom with light work

  1. Hi, so i am growing two strains. One that will be ready to harvest in about two week, and the other strain in about 3-4 weeks. Normally, i would use the grow room for the drying process, but since there will still have plants in the room, it won’t work. It will be too hot and too much light.

i know light is bad for the drying, but would hanging and drying the buds in my bedroom work? Yes there will be light, but its a regular light, not a grow light. Would this work or i should avoid? I am not sure where else i could dry right now

  2. put em in the closet and you should be fine, but some light wont effect it a ton. could even hang a sheet from the ceiling to block some of the light.

  3. My grow room is in my closet so there is not much other place beside the bedroom

  4. As long as temp and rh are in the sweet spot and you have air circulation you'll be fine. Degradation will be negligible.

  5. it will be fine man, just try n keep the light off. people over state how much damage light does at any point to weed.

  6. I dried my entire 1st harvest from the roof in my bedroom, no issues at all, hung there for 7 days before I bothered with any of it. Jared it on day 10, spent 3 days in the rack after removing from stems after hanging.

  7. Paper bag method.

  8. Any space will work, as long as you take your humidity from 70% down to 50% over the course of 5 days and then hold steady at 50% until ready for jars.

So as long as the RH in the room is stable, there is good air circulation, and your temps stay around 65-75 you will be fine
