Will decarbing with a small amount of oil be harmful?

    Ive accidentally put my kief in oil before I decarbed it but I strained out as much oil as I could and decarbed the kief. Will that be a problem because the kief is like a paste now

    If it was decarbed properly you’ll b ok.

    Throw that away and start over. I'd imagine without a magical butter or equivalent machine even decarbing the kief wouldnt make much difference. Oil unless you go overboard is fairly weak. If I didn't have a machine I'd go get some everclear and make tincture. Either use the tincture or boil the alcohol off for rso.

    Kief and Coconut oil "Paste" is what I fill my capsules with.
    Always Decarb before blending with oil.
    Decarb = 240 F for 40 minutes uncovered.

    Cook what you have for 3 more hours at 240 F . Test it. If still weak cook it 3 more hours.

    Update: i decarbed my kief paste (took out as much oil as I could) then infused it with oil and it works great. I have to say the Ardent FX is a life saver. It was able to fix my mistake
