Let's say I get an average sized fish tank and I have about 5 goldfish for my autoflower and I plant it like the fish tank and with the fish in it like a DWC. Will this work? Sent from my LM-V350 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
@Tbone Shuffle gave you good advice on your first post regarding aquaponics. I'd look into the info he gave you b4 just asking the same thing in other words.
You will need an active airpump to preven the plant drowning and some way to hold a growing plant vertical less dreaming more study to my profile on free weed books .............https://forum.grasscity.com/members/vostok.117494/ good luck
I’ve heard of that with the raft type systems. If you are new to it, there are many less complex methods of hydro. Get a rope and use a wick for soil.
Yes - very well The person I know who does it - used an old hood and cut holes in it to hold the same cups you would use when growing in Hydro only - and they work well - 4 plants over a 55 gallon tank 2 per hood - he uses a power head for airation in the tank
What kind of fish would I need and what size of the fish tank can I get that's small enough for a micro grow? Sent from my LM-V350 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Some gold fish and some plecos and some cat fish - smalls will do - and a 20 gallon tank - you can do 2-4 plants on
Have you seen in person or on video of someone growing marijuana with decent yield using a fish tank of 20 gallons of less with a couple of gold fishes? Sent from my LM-V350 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Yes - my friend did - and it was not just a couple of gold fishes - he had an existing tank that ran for years with several gold fish - 2 plecos - corry cats and bumble bee cats - it had plants, caves and all for several years before he made a new hood and did the 2 plant grow over his tank and got OK not great yields - not sure of exact weight
So all those fish in it and the yields were less than satisfactory? Sent from my LM-V350 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
